Research On The Influence Of Digital Economy On The Division Of Labor Status Of Agricultural Global Value Chain

In recent years,the vigorous development of digital economy has not only promoted economic development and social progress,but also gradually penetrated and empowered the agricultural field,exerting a profound impact on the development of agricultural industrial chain and the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain.Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy.It will not only affect the development of the national economy,but also affect the security and stability of the whole country.In the context of global value chain division of labor,some developing countries,including China,are in the middle and low position in the division of global value chain because of the relatively backward level of science and technology,labor quality and social services,which makes agriculture unable to obtain higher added value and lack competitiveness in the international market.In this regard,this paper takes digital economy as the starting point,and the main purpose of this study is to explore the impact and impact mechanism of digital economy on the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain,as well as to explore how to effectively enhance the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain.In order to explore the impact of digital economy on the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain,firstly,based on relevant research and theory,this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of digital economy on the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain from both direct and indirect perspectives,and puts forward the research hypothesis.Secondly,the paper calculates the development level of digital economy of various countries by constructing the evaluation system of digital economy,and measures the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain by calculating the participation index and position index of agricultural global value chain.Based on the calculation results,the paper compares and analyzes the development of digital economy and the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain in the sample countries.Then,taking the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain as the explained variable and digital economy as the core explanatory variable,build an econometric model to empirically analyze the impact and impact mechanism of the digital economy on the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain through the use of global panel data from 37 countries from 2000 to 2018.Finally,combined with the conclusion of theoretical and empirical analysis,the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the promotion of the division of labor status of agriculture global value chain.It is found that compared with some developed countries,the development level of China’s digital economy still needs to be improved,and the division of agriculture in the global value chain is not deep enough,agriculture is at the middle and low end of the division of labor in global value chains.Through the empirical test,it is found that digital economy can significantly promote the division of labor status of a country’s agriculture in the global value chain,which is mainly achieved through the dual mechanism of improving the level of producer services and technological innovation ability.Agricultural factor endowment,trade openness and financial service level also have positive effects on the promotion of the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain.According to the heterogeneity analysis,digital economy has more obvious promoting effect on the promotion of agricultural global value chain division status in developing countries.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure,increase investment in scientific and technological research and development,accelerate the process of agricultural digital transformation,promote the embedment of agricultural productive services,strengthen the innovation-driven mechanism of enterprises,cultivate complex technical talents and other measures to effectively improve the division of labor status of agricultural global value chain.The study of this paper not only helps to expand the theoretical system of global value chain development,but also puts forward targeted suggestions to promote the continuous rise of the division of labor status of China’s agricultural global value chain,which has strong theoretical and practical value.
