Research On Countermeasures Of Improving Rural Consumption Level Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

As one of the "troikas" to promote the steady growth of China’s regional GDP,consumption plays an increasingly important role in promoting regional economic development.Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,under the new era background of actively promoting the construction of a new dual-cycle development pattern and comprehensively promoting rural revitalization,China’s emphasis on consumption,especially rural consumption,has continued to increase.At present,the consumption market in Yangquan City has entered a shift period,with the growth rate hovering at a low level.There is still a large gap between urban and rural consumption levels,and the role of rural consumption in the economy cannot be fully played.This problem needs to be solved urgently.By referring to the research on rural consumption at home and abroad,on the basis of consulting the statistical yearbook of Shanxi Province,the statistical yearbook of Yangquan City and field investigation and visit,this thesis systematically combs the development and transformation process of rural consumption in Yangquan City from 1978 to 2020 by using the methods of comparative analysis,quantitative and qualitative combination,and briefly summarizes the current situation and characteristics of consumption.And from the perspective of external consumption environment and internal consumption subject,this paper deeply analyzes the factors affecting rural consumption level.The study found that the per capita income of rural residents,the savings balance of urban and rural residents,GDP and urbanization rate are highly positively correlated with the consumption expenditure of rural residents,and there is a low positive correlation between the permanent population and rural consumption expenditure.Population aging and rural consumption environment have a certain impact on rural consumption expenditure,while the correlation between consumer price index and rural consumption expenditure is weak.Finally,combined with the reality of Yangquan and focusing on the key influencing factors,this thesis puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve consumption levels in rural areas from the two aspects of "promoting the rural revitalization strategy,optimizing the urban and rural consumption environment" and "ensuring the employment income level and improving the main consumption ability",which has a certain reference value for the local realization of the effective connection between consolidating and expanding the key achievements of poverty eradication and rural revitalization.
