| The Central Document No.1 of 2023 mentioned culture and tourism in several places and clearly proposed: "the implementation of the cultural industry to empower rural revitalization plan;the implementation of rural leisure tourism boutique projects,and promote the quality of rural lodging upgrade".In the past few years,the No.1 document of the central government has repeatedly mentioned the vigorous development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism.As an emerging industry that integrates primary,secondary and tertiary industries,leisure agriculture plays an important role in promoting urban-rural integration and rural revitalization strategies,providing new opportunities for improving the income structure of farmers and upgrading the level of rural agricultural development.For Zhongmou County,the development of leisure agriculture is crucial,especially in terms of agricultural development transformation and economic development.Leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County started late and therefore needs to be developed at a faster pace.As one of the three pillar industries in Zhongmou County,the development of urban leisure agriculture will inject new vitality into the county’s economic development.Therefore,Zhongmou County should pay attention to the development of leisure agriculture and develop corresponding strategies and policies to promote its sustainable economic growth.This article takes the leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County as the research object and uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and Entropy Weight Method to evaluate the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County.Firstly,based on five aspects: basic conditions of leisure agriculture,characteristics of leisure agriculture products,ecological environment of leisure agriculture,management of leisure agriculture operations,and functional benefits of leisure agriculture,a comprehensive evaluation index system for the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County is constructed.The system includes22 secondary evaluation indicators such as road mileage,family farms,rural scenic spots,catering hotels,and rural specialty accommodations.With the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods and the use of the comprehensive index method,the evaluation and analysis are conducted based on statistical data from 2017 to 2021.Finally,recommendations for accelerating the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County are proposed.The main conclusions of this article are as follows: From 2017 to 2019,the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County showed a significant improvement.Although there was a decline in 2020 due to the impact of the pandemic,it has been gradually recovering since 2021.Overall,the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County has shown a stable upward trend.From the analysis of indicator weights and overall development,the level of development in terms of per capita income of practitioners and the number of households influenced by it is relatively high,which has a significant impact on the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County.However,further efforts are needed to strengthen the development of leisure agriculture product features,such as rural folk activities and rural specialty accommodations,to achieve balanced development across all indicators.There are issues with infrastructure,local product characteristics,ecological environment,marketing and promotion,and the quality of practitioners in leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County.Finally,relevant strategies and suggestions are proposed for the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmu County: improve the infrastructure of leisure agriculture,enhance supporting facilities construction,tap into local characteristics to enhance core competitiveness,increase efforts in ecological protection to improve ecological benefits,strengthen marketing and promotion both online and offline,optimize and improve the talent structure,and establish a sound training system. |
