With the continuous advancement of economic development and urbanization,China’s agricultural openness is getting higher and higher, and at the same time, the traditional and non-traditional challenges faced in the process of agricultural development are becoming more and more prominent. The introduction of the concept of family farm provides new ideas for promoting the development of agriculture in China.Tanghe County is one of the top 100 grain producing counties and super grain producing counties in China, and in recent years has also begun to promote the development of family farms, and the government has actively formulated relevant policies to promote the development of family farms in Tanghe County, providing a good policy environment for the orderly development of local family farms. However, compared with Tanghe County’s own resources, the overall number of local family farms still has a lot of room for growth.Based on the above background,it is of great significance to explore the establishment of family farms by farmers in Tanghe County for local agricultural development and promote the long-term sustainable development of family farms.Taking Tanghe County in Henan Province as an example, this paper summarizes and studies the research dynamics of family farms at home and abroad on the basis of a large number of literature research, and elaborates the concept of family farms and related theories involved in this study.Secondly, the stratified sampling method was used to distribute questionnaires, field visits, collect first-hand resources, use SPSS software to process data, and use the correlation coefficient test method to screen variables. Finally,a binary logistic regression model is constructed to deeply analyze the significant influencing factors of farmers’ willingness to start family farms. The following conclusions were drawn:(1)according to the statistical results of 263 valid sample surveys,162 farming households were willing to start family farms, and 101 farming households were unwilling to start family farms;(2)According to the empirical analysis results of the model,gender,age,risk-taking spirit, scale management attitude, farmland resource endowment, land fragmentation, understanding of family farm support policies, and understanding of agricultural market information have a significant impact on farmers’ willingness to establish family farms. In addition to the negative impact of age and the degree of land fragmentation on farmers’ willingness to establish family farms, other factors have a positive impact. In response to the research results, this paper puts forward targeted policy recommendations: first, pay attention to the publicity of family farms to ensure that the concept of family farms penetrates deep into rural areas; The second is to implement training for farmers to improve their professional quality; The third is to improve the land circulation system to ensure stable land security in the process of family farm operation; The fourth is to provide a perfect service system for the development of agricultural socialization and build an agricultural insurance mechanism;Fifth, strengthen the publicity of support policies and stimulate farmers’ participation initiative; The sixth is to build an agricultural market information sharing platform to ensure that farmers can have more sales channels for agricultural products. |
