| Equipment management is an important component of enterprise operation management,which determines multiple operational indicators such as product quality,cost,product delivery time,and customer satisfaction.Especially in recent years,due to the development of the Internet and the application of 5G technology,it has brought huge impacts to the traditional manufacturing industry.Due to outdated equipment,conservative management concepts,and increasing labor costs,these traditional manufacturing enterprises are facing increasing market competitiveness and survival pressure.In heavy industry manufacturing enterprises,if equipment management cannot meet the requirements of modern enterprise management development,it will have a huge impact on the cost reduction,efficiency improvement,product quality improvement,and market competitiveness of the enterprise.Therefore,doing a good job in equipment management,tapping into the potential of equipment management,ensuring the production and operation of enterprises,and improving the level of lean management of enterprises are currently urgent problems that enterprises need to solve and develop.TPM(Total Productive Maintenance)is an equipment management and maintenance system first implemented by Japanese enterprises.Through full participation and teamwork,an excellent equipment management system is created to improve equipment utilization,employee engagement,and equipment management level,ultimately achieving an overall improvement in the operational efficiency of the production system.At pr esent,the research on TPM management theory is relatively complete,but there is a lack of application research in some labor-intensive heavy industry enterprises.This article uses the application of TPM equipment management theory in the equipment management of Port Machinery Heavy Industry Company as a case study.Using literature research,quantitative analysis,and case study methods,it analyzes the problems of frequent and unclassified failures,inadequate maintenance,poor production area environment,no equipment maintenance plan,and chaotic spare parts management in the equipment management of Port Machinery Heavy Industry Company.The management methods are comprehensively used,including "PDPC method",Pareto principle,and so on The "ABC" classification method,combined with the standard operating procedures SOP for equipment maintenance,equipment inspection system,and on-site 5S management,has established a scientific management concept,solved many problems in the company’s equipment and on-site management,achieved economic and efficient equipment maintenance,improved the company’s equipment management level,standardized on-site management,and enhanced the company’s competitiveness in the market.After promoting the application of TPM theory by Port Machinery Heavy Industry Company,the company’s operational processes,on-site management,equipment management,and other aspects have been greatly improved.At the same time,in the process of equipment maintenance,through the participation of all staff,training for all staff,and individual improvement work,the quality of employees and the level of lean operation have been improved,which has greatly improved the production and operation environment of Port Machinery Heavy Industry Company,bringing economic and social benefits to the company.It has certain reference significance for port crane manufacturing enterprises to implement TPM management. |
