| 2021,known as the first year of the metaverse,will usher in a new era of digital economic development.Within a year,the metaverse has experienced rapid growth in terms of concepts and the capital market.The metaverse is not just a collection of next-generation internet technologies,but also a new form of social structure that transcends the physical and virtual worlds.On the other hand,there are still numerous issues in the current development of China’s core industries in the digital economy.These issues mainly include bottlenecks in the development of core industries,challenges in achieving industry collaboration,and a mismatch between labor supply and demand in the job market.The development level of the core industries in the digital economy is directly linked to the future of China’s digital economic development.Therefore,it is of great significance to analyze how metaverse technological innovation can drive the development of core industries in the digital economy,as well as to understand the driving mechanisms behind metaverse technological innovation.This analysis will inform the strategic deployment of metaverse technological innovation and promote the development of core industries in the digital economy.This thesis takes the perspective of Marxist political economy to study the inherent theoretical logic behind how metaverse technological innovation drives the development of core industries in the digital economy.Firstly,at the level of productive forces,metaverse technological innovation promotes the development of the three elements of productive forces.Regarding the transformation of means of labor,it enhances the depth and breadth of virtual labor tools,expands the integration of labor spaces and technological environments for digital product production,and achieves a complementary relationship between virtual and physical labor spaces.In terms of the innovation of objects of labor,it broadens the sources of diversified data collection,ensures efficient and secure data computation and storage,and enhances the security and fluidity of data elements,providing new technological means for improving the quantity and quality of data elements.In terms of the development of labor,it not only improves the quality of labor in the core industries of the digital economy through knowledge spillover effects but also creates digital labor,providing profit-generating opportunities for the core industries of the digital economy.Secondly,at the level of production relations,metaverse technological innovation changes traditional forms of production organization and expands the scope of production collaboration.Thirdly,metaverse technological innovation transforms traditional patterns of digital product consumption and gives rise to a virtual consumption system,stimulating the development of core industries in the digital economy from the consumption side.Furthermore,to propose targeted policy recommendations that stimulate innovation in the Metaverse technology,it is necessary to analyze the driving mechanisms of Metaverse technology innovation.This article first divides the sources of innovation into government,enterprises,and consumers,and further integrates them into multi-subject evolutionary game model that is constructed to explore its driving mechanism.The results show that when the following three conditions are met simultaneously: firstly,the positive external effects brought by enterprise Metaverse technology innovation can improve the governance level and capacity of the government that supports Metaverse technology innovation;secondly,the benefits obtained by enterprises through Metaverse innovation can compensate for the costs of innovation;thirdly,the utility obtained by consumers when consuming Metaverse digital products can compensate for the price paid for digital products.The three parties can achieve the optimal stable equilibrium state to stimulate Metaverse technology innovation.Furthermore,this article found that the equilibrium point stability condition is met,even if the probability of the government choosing to stimulate technology innovation,enterprises innovating,and consumers purchasing digital products is at a very low level in the initial state,the probability of the government choosing to stimulate innovation,enterprises choosing to innovate,and consumers choosing to purchase digital products will all reach a level of 1.In addition,this article also analyzes the sensitivity of the government’s innovation incentives parameters.The research finds that government can quickly achieve the expected goals of enterprise innovation and consumer purchase of digital products by providing price subsidies and consumption subsidies to enterprises and consumers respectively,the effect of subsidizing consumers is better than that of subsidizing enterprises,because subsidizing consumers can not only stimulate consumer purchasing willingness but also stimulate enterprise production.Moreover,there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between government innovation intervention and actual effect.When the degree of government intervention in innovation is below a certain threshold,it can quickly enhance the innovation willingness of enterprises and the purchasing willingness of consumers.However,when the government’s intervention in the innovation process exceeds a certain threshold,it will produce a temporary opposite effect.Finally,based on the research above,this article summarizes the findings and proposes a development strategy to promote the innovation of China’s metaverse technology. |
