With the rapid development of social economy,the acceleration of urban-rural integration and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,the construction of beautiful villages has begun to take effect.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the CPC pointed out that agriculture and rural development should be given priority,and should be supported from the height of the state,support farmers’ entrepreneurship from the policy,drive farmers’ employment,and promote the comprehensive development of rural areas.The No.1 central document of the Central Committee of the CPC in 2023 emphasized that a strong country must first strengthen agriculture,and only when agriculture is strong can the country be strong.The development of leisure agriculture will accelerate the development of urban-rural integration,promote the increase of farmers’ income,and improve the living environment in rural areas,which is conducive to solving the current "three rural" problems and highly consistent with the central policy.As a new type of agriculture,leisure agriculture provides a development direction for green development,sustainable development and intensive development of agriculture and rural areas.It can promote the integration of agricultural industries,increase the added value of agricultural products,and improve the utilization rate of rural resources.Zhongmou County is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains.The mother river runs through the east and west.The transportation is very convenient.The agricultural resources and tourism resources are very rich.The economic development is fast.It has the advantages of developing leisure agriculture.At present,the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County is in good condition and has produced substantial economic benefits.However,many problems appear in the process of development,which hampers the rapid development of leisure agriculture.Therefore,the key to the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County is to have an objective understanding of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County,and scientific management and reasonable planning.This paper takes the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County as the research object,uses the methods of literature research,field research,typical case analysis,and other methods to analyze the basic conditions,development status and development mode of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County through combing the relevant domestic and foreign documents,and find out the existing problems from the case.Firstly,the research background and significance are briefly described,and the relevant theoretical research results of leisure agriculture at home and abroad are collated and analyzed;Secondly,this paper introduces the basic concepts and related theories of leisure agriculture;Then this paper analyzes the development basis and current situation of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County.The leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County has developed well and has a certain popularity,which has attracted the footsteps of surrounding tourists,and has also achieved some economic benefits.However,through in-depth interviews,it was found that there were some problems,such as uneven distribution of tourist flow in time,low level of management and service,single promotion means,less prominent product features,and insufficient industrial integration,which had different degrees of impact on the healthy development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County.This paper proposes to develop the advantage area of leisure agriculture for the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County,develop the orientation of serving the Zhengzhou and Kaifeng metropolitan area,and adhere to the road of industrial integration.This paper proposes to develop the advantage area of leisure agriculture for the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County,develop the orientation of serving the Zhengzhou and Kaifeng metropolitan area,and adhere to the road of industrial integration.Put forward targeted suggestions for the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County from the aspects of planning,service,marketing,culture,etc.,break the seasonal dilemma,improve the service level,increase publicity efforts,highlight features,and reasonably plan the layout,so as to inject new vitality into the sustainable development of leisure agriculture,with a view to further promoting the development of leisure agriculture in Zhongmou County.
