Agricultural insurance is the most common risk management tool,which can be used by farmers to reduce crop planting losses caused by adverse natural and market conditions,thus playing a certain role in ensuring farmers’ income.However,the reality of traditional direct materialized cost agricultural insurance is that the subsidies are high,the insurance amount and premium are low,and small-scale growers have limited knowledge of risk management and understanding of insurance.The reform of agricultural insurance products is making continuous progress and reform.In 2015,agricultural insurance must include direct physical costs.In 2017,agricultural catastrophe insurance increased land rent,In 2019,the No.1 central document proposed to "promote the pilot project of full cost insurance for rice,wheat and corn" "To solve the problem of low insurance coverage of current insurance products,it can be seen that the level of agricultural insurance protection for farmers is constantly improving,constantly meeting farmers’ needs,ensuring farmers’ income,and constantly making efforts to promote the development of rural modernization,promote high-quality agricultural development,and help rural revitalization.This paper uses full cost insurance as a research perspective.From2018 to 2020,Shandong Province will carry out pilot projects in four counties and districts,including Jiyang District,and 2021 Full cost insurance has been fully developed in Binzhou City.Therefore,understanding the role of full cost insurance in ensuring farmers’ income is of great significance to improve farmers’ enthusiasm for insurance and more effectively promote new agricultural insurance products.This paper analyzes the current situation of farmers’ income and full cost insurance,and finds that the per capita agricultural net income and per capita net income of insured farmers are higher than those of uninsured farmers;The proportion of farmers who participate in full cost insurance is as high as 70%,and the insurance rate varies between counties.Based on the survey data of three counties and districts,this paper conducts a descriptive statistical analysis of the relevant influencing factors.On the basis of the descriptive statistical analysis,it uses OLS and PSM methods to study the impact of the extension effect of full cost insurance "whether to participate" on farmers’ income;The OLS method is used to study the impact of full cost insurance coverage on farmers’ income;PSM-OLS method and AIPW method are used to study the robustness of the impact of full cost insurance on farmers’ income;Use the intermediary effect model to study the mechanism of the extension effect of full cost insurance "whether to participate in insurance" on farmers’ income,and analyze the heterogeneity of the impact of full cost insurance on farmers’ income.The results show that: "whether to participate in insurance" and the level of security have a significant positive impact on farmers’ income,mainly by affecting farmers’ agricultural income to improve farmers’ income;" Insured or not " The impact of and security level on farmers’ income has passed the robustness test;full cost insurance improves farmers’ income by affecting agricultural investment and agricultural labor productivity;the impact of full cost insurance on farmers’ income varies greatly in the number of family supporters,planting scale and the distance between natural villages and county towns,while full cost insurance can stabilize the income of farmers with more family supporters,larger planting scale and closer distance between natural villages and county towns The effect of is more significant.
