Since the No.1 central document of the Central Government in 2016 directly listed rural e-commerce as a separate project for the first time,the central government,the State Council and relevant ministries and commissions have successively issued dozens of rural e-commerce related policies in recent years.On February 13,2023,Xinhua News Agency was authorized to issue the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Doing a Good Job in the Key Work of Comprehensively Promoting Rural Revitalization in 2023".The document proposed that we should speed up the improvement of rural e-commerce and express logistics distribution system,implement the process of agricultural products from rural areas to cities under the "digital commerce for agriculture" and "Internet plus",and promote the development of e-commerce direct purchase of agricultural products,customized production models,and the construction of e-commerce bases for live broadcast of agricultural and sideline products.The promulgation of policies not only reflects the strong support of the country for agricultural product e-commerce,but also reflects the necessity of agricultural product e-commerce for increasing farmers’ income in China at present.Therefore,studying the impact of agricultural product e-commerce on farmers’ income growth can help farmers better understand and find a relatively suitable operating path for their own development,thereby driving farmers to achieve income growth.This article is divided into six parts to elaborate: Firstly,the background,significance,and content of agricultural product e-commerce in increasing farmers’ income were studied,and research objectives,methods,and technical routes were determined;Secondly,it summarized relevant concepts,analyzed relevant literature on the impact of agricultural product e-commerce on farmers’ income growth,outlined the theoretical basis,and analyzed the mechanism of action;Then,provide an overview of agricultural product e-commerce,agricultural product e-commerce promotion,and the existing problems in Henan Province’s agricultural product e-commerce;Subsequently,the selection of research areas and research design were carried out,and relevant data from four agricultural product e-commerce demonstration villages were obtained through questionnaire surveys,and the current situation was described;Then,use the ordered probit model to conduct empirical regression,and find out the significant variable factors of agricultural products e-commerce to promote agricultural income,and then use the fs QCA method to calibrate the six selected variables,analyze the necessity and construct and analyze the configuration effect of each factor,and draw relevant conclusions;Finally,summarize the research conclusions,policy recommendations,and research prospects.The conclusion shows that there is no single necessary condition that can be used as a result to promote farmers’ income increase,that is,the increase in farmers’ income is caused by the comprehensive action of multiple operating factors,and the combination of multiple operating factors will achieve income increase for farmers.At the same time,through the combination of variables,a more suitable reference path for the development of agricultural product e-commerce to promote agricultural income has been found.They are:(1)talent led combination path,(2)government enterprise cooperation led combination path,(3)channel led combination path,and(4)enterprise farmer willingness led combination path.Meanwhile,according to the analysis results of the path,talent introduction and e-commerce training are the core conditions for rural e-commerce to promote farmers’ income growth at the level of government support and education level,and play a crucial role in the development of agricultural product e-commerce.The government has highlighted its auxiliary role in the process of participating in the e-commerce sales of agricultural products.At the level of enterprise driving,the participation of enterprises in the sales of agricultural product ecommerce needs to be combined with policy support and assistance from the local government.This can be achieved by improving the basic conditions of farmers and enhancing their willingness to participate,in order to better assist farmers in increasing their income.At the level of farmers’ willingness to participate and the basic conditions of rural areas,assistance from the government and enterprises is also needed.At the sales channel level,it is possible to combine basic conditions and strengthen farmers’ willingness to participate,and promote farmers’ income increase through multi-channel and multi-platform methods.This path is also an effective but relatively difficult development path for farmers to promote income increase at present.
