Statistical Analysis Of The Impact Of Digital Economy On The Development Of New Urbanization

With the continuous innovation of information technology,digital economy has become a new driving force to promote high-quality development and promoted social transformation and upgrading.While promoting economic growth,whether it can drive the development of new urbanization has also become a focus of scholars.Promoting a new type of people-centered urbanization is an important part of the Chinese-style modernization path.During the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,whether we can seize the new track of digital economy development,and seize the momentum to promote the construction of new urbanization,is the key to reasonably grasp the urban-rural relationship,and promote the coordinated development between both urban and rural areas under the background of the new era.Therefore,this paper studies the impact of digital economy on new urbanization,which is of great significance for promoting economic and social development and promoting the construction of new urbanization.This paper takes 31 regions of China as research objects and selects panel data from 2011 to 2020 to empirically examines the impact of digital economy on the development of new urbanization.Firstly,this paper selects 10 secondary indexes from digital industrialization,digital digitization and digital governance to construct a digital economy development level index system,and 12 secondary indexes from economic development level,social development level,environmental governance level and basic service level to construct a new urbanization development level measurement index system and analyze the development status.Secondly,the digital economy development level index and the new urbanization development level index are taken as the explanatory variables and the explained variables respectively,and the spatial dubin model is established according to the economic distance matrix to test the impact of digital economy on the development of new urbanization and the spatial spillover effect.The following conclusions are drawn after analysis:First,the development level of digital economy and new urbanization in the eastern region has always been higher than the national average.The gap between the development level of digital economy and new-type urbanization in central China and the national average level has been narrowing since 2016,and the development level of new urbanization in central China has exceeded the national average level in 2019 and 2020.The gap between the development level of digital economy and new-type urbanization in the western region and the national average has been gradually widening.The development level of digital economy and new-type urbanization showed the status of east > national average > central > western.Second: 1,the digital economy has indeed played an important role in promoting the development of new urbanization.The development of digital economy in this region and its surrounding areas plays an important role in promoting the development of new urbanization in this region;2,the industrial structure of this region plays a certain inhibitory role in the development of new urbanization in this region;3,the level of opening-up in this region plays an important role in promoting the development of new urbanization in this region;4,the educational input in the region inhibits the new-type urbanization development in the region to a certain extent,and the educational input in the surrounding areas has a positive conduction effect on the new-type urbanization development in the region.Third: 1,the new urbanization has significant spatial correlation among various regions,which has negative spatial spillover effect;2,digital economy development level has significant positive spatial spillover effect on the development level of new urbanization;3,industrial structure has positive spatial spillover effect on the development level of new urbanization;4,opening-up level has negative spatial spillover effect on the development level of new urbanization;5,education investment has positive spatial spillover effect on the development level of new urbanization.In view of the above study conclusions,this paper proposes the following policy recommendations: 1,increase the digital construction in the central and western regions according to local conditions;2,reasonably use the space spillover effect,strengthen the cooperation and connection of digital economy between regions,and then promote the development of new urbanization;3,strengthen the construction of social and economic characteristics such as industrial structure,opening level and education investment.
