Research On The Impact Of Tourism Development On Tourism Places Based On The Perception Of Residents In Ethnic Areas

Tourism has always been one of the important industries for the economic development of ethnic areas,and the development of ethnic tourism has driven the development of ethnic areas.However,the development of tourism activities in the promotion of local economy,environment,and social and cultural development,but also may have a subtle negative impact on the local economy,environment,social culture and other aspects,such as the cost of living increase,environmental pollution,cultural commercialization,etc.If the limit of the social carrying capacity of the tourist destination is ignored,it is likely that the local tourism industry can not be coordinated with the local characteristics and local reality,which is not conducive to the sustainable development of tourism in tourist areas.As the supporter of ethnic culture,practitioner and the main force of tourism development in ethnic areas,the attitude of local residents in tourist places is very important,and their attitude towards the development of tourism will affect the behavior of tourism development,only when the local residents themselves live in the area because of the development of tourism,and the economy,social culture,and environment are changing in a good direction,or the overall positive perception is enough to make up for the negative perception,they will support the development of local tourism and participate in the behavior of tourism activities.Further promote the vigorous development of local tourism.From the perspective of residents’ perception of tourism impact,based on social exchange theory and cognitive-emotion-behavior theory,this paper establishes a tourism impact perception model for residents in ethnic areas,so as to measure the tourism development attitude and participation willingness of residents in tourist areas.This model divides tourism impact perception into three dimensions for exploration,namely tourism economic impact perception,tourism social and cultural impact perception and tourism environmental impact perception,and determines the indicators of these three dimensions in a positive and negative way.Taking Milin County as the research object,the characteristics and development trend of tourism development in ethnic areas were deeply discussed,fieldwork was carried out,and the structural equation model was used for empirical testing to study the impact of tourism development on economic,socio-cultural and environmental levels.The results showed that the perception of tourism economic impact of residents in Milin County significantly negatively affected their tourism development attitude and participation intention,tourism socio-cultural impact perception significantly positively affected their tourism development attitude and participation intention,tourism environmental impact perception significantly negatively affected their tourism development attitude and participation intention,and tourism development attitude significantly positively affected their willingness to participate.By sorting out the commonalities between Milin County and ethnic areas,the research results of Milin County are extended to ethnic areas with similar development conditions to Milin County,and countermeasures and 13 suggestions for the sustainable development of tourism in ethnic areas are proposed: improving the economic benefits of tourism areas at the economic level,such as balancing regional development,avoiding off-season risks by multiple means,and so on.At the social and cultural level,such as create a healthy social and cultural atmosphere in tourist places,establish residents’ awareness of the legal system,protect the language system with ethnic characteristics,and so on.At the environmental level,such as strengthening centralized pollution treatment,improving personnel’s awareness of environmental protection,improving the social carrying capacity of tourism destinations,implementing strict construction control systems,and rationally planning infrastructure construction in ethnic minority tourist areas.
