In The New Development Stage,the Integrated Development Of Urban And Rural Areas Will Promote The Research On The Path Of Common Prosperity Of Farmers And Rural Areas

Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism,and the development of China’s economy and society is,in the final analysis,to achieve common prosperity for all people.In the new development stage,the unbalanced and insufficient development of the rural areas is the key point and difficult point that restricts the common prosperity of all the people in China.To change the relatively backward face of the countryside and promote the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas,we cannot only look for development momentum within the countryside,but also explore the path of urban-rural interaction to promote rural development from the perspective of urban-rural relationship.Integrated urban-rural development is a development path of mutual promotion of industry and agriculture and complementary urban-rural development,which is conducive to narrowing the urbanrural development gap and promoting comprehensive integration between urban and rural areas,thus breaking the bottleneck that restricts agricultural and rural development and promoting common prosperity of farmers and rural areas.Since the new era,China has made some achievements in practice by establishing and improving the institutional mechanism of urban-rural integration and development to promote the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas,among which Zhejiang Province is in the forefront of the country.Zhejiang Province has launched a series of initiatives to promote the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through establishing and improving the institutional mechanism of urban-rural integration and development,which has effectively improved the level of common prosperity of farmers and rural areas in Zhejiang Province.This paper systematically compares the basic practices of Zhejiang Province in promoting the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through integrated urban-rural development,and explores the effective ways to promote the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through the sound institutional mechanism of integrated urban-rural development in the new development stage,taking into account the problems and shortcomings of promoting the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through integrated urban-rural development nationwide.This paper mainly focuses on the following parts: First,it defines the main concepts involved in this paper-common prosperity,common rural prosperity of farmers and urban-rural integrated development,and defines the main support of the research-socialist urban-rural integrated development with Chinese characteristics The main support of the research-the theory of socialist urban-rural integrated development with Chinese characteristics and the theory of socialist common wealth with Chinese characteristics is outlined.Second,the specific practices of Zhejiang Province in promoting common prosperity of farmers and rural areas with integrated urban-rural development since the new era are sorted out and summarized.Third,the statistical data on common prosperity of farmers and rural areas and urban-rural integration development in Zhejiang Province and the whole country from 2006 to2021 were collected and compiled,and the entropy value method was used to comprehensively evaluate the level of common prosperity of farmers and rural areas in Zhejiang Province and the whole country,and the multiple linear regression analysis was used to quantify the role of urban-rural integration development in promoting common prosperity of farmers and rural areas in Zhejiang Province and the whole country.The quantitative analysis was conducted.Fourthly,we investigated the problems and shortcomings of promoting the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through urban-rural integration development in China.Fifthly,the basic practice of promoting rural common prosperity through urban-rural integration development in Zhejiang Province is used to explore the effective path of promoting rural common prosperity through urban-rural integration development in the new development stage.The innovation of this paper is: Firstly,this paper adopts a research method from special to general,firstly,it compares and summarizes the basic practices of Zhejiang Province in promoting the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through integrated urban-rural development,and then,drawing on Zhejiang’s experience,it looks at the whole country and proposes an effective path to promote the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through integrated urban-rural development in the new development stage.Secondly,through field research on farmers’ needs,this paper proposes some new paths to promote common prosperity of farmers and rural areas with integrated urban-rural development,for example,in view of the possible default of wages and withdrawal of capital and running away of enterprises in rural areas,it proposes to establish a perfect risk warning deposit system;in view of the current problem that the basic pension of rural elderly people can hardly meet their basic living needs,it proposes to reform the pension account adjustment mechanism by increasing the annual amount of each accounts from a fixed percentage increase on the original base to the same amount increase for all pension accounts.The research of this paper makes some contributions to the innovation of the theory of integrated urban-rural development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the theory of common prosperity of socialism with Chinese characteristics,explores the effective path to promote the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas with integrated urban-rural development in the new development stage,and contributes to the practice of promoting the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas in the new development stage.
