With the rapid development of e-commerce,online shopping has taken a dominant position in China’s retail market,and the traditional retail industry has been greatly affected and under increasing pressure.In this situation,how to improve their profitability and reduce operating costs has become a common concern for many retailers.Low-cost,good-quality private brand is a favorable weapon for retailers to compete in the market,and shortening the private brand procurement process is one of the most critical aspects for companies to compress total logistics costs.The original procurement process is not well designed,resulting in a long procurement cycle and low operational efficiency,which seriously limits the company’s profit growth.Therefore,it is important to optimize the purchasing process of the supermarkets’ own brands of daily necessities.This thesis is based on the study of the optimization of the purchasing process for the private label of daily necessities in Rainbow.First,the thesis uses theories related to procurement management and process optimization as the theoretical basis,and combines first-hand information obtained from in-depth interviews to sort out the current situation of the purchasing process of daily necessities’ private brands in Rainbow Company,and uses a combination of on-site observation and brainstorming to analyze the main problems in the purchasing process of daily necessities’ private brands: long process operation cycle and low process operation efficiency;second,to Secondly,the problems in the process were diagnosed and analyzed,and the causes were identified,namely: long approval process of the procurement plan of daily necessities free brand,low information sharing of the procurement process of daily necessities free brand and insufficient control of the execution of the acceptance process of the procurement order of daily necessities free brand;then,based on the above analysis results,with the help of ESEIA tools,the procurement process of daily necessities free brand was optimized and designed,respectively Then,based on the above analysis results,with the help of the ESEIA tool,we design a targeted optimization of the daily goods private label procurement process,which are:optimization of the daily goods private label procurement planning process,online daily goods private label procurement process,and integration of the daily goods private label merchandise acceptance process;finally,we propose an implementation plan and guarantee measures for the optimization of the daily goods private label procurement process of Rainbow Company to ensure that the process optimization plan can be carried out smoothly.This thesis not only provides a reference for Rainbow Company to optimize the private brand procurement process of daily necessities,but also provides a theoretical basis for Rainbow Company to enhance the effectiveness of purchasing goods and enhance the core competitiveness of private brand goods.It is expected that it can also serve as a reference for other retail enterprises to optimize their product procurement processes.
