| In recent years, the construction industry has been optimized and reformed, and a series of national and local policy documents have been issued to encourage and support the comprehensive transformation of engineering consulting services, explore and develop the whole process engineering consulting service mode covering the whole life cycle, since then the traditional engineering consulting service fragmentation has gradually changed to integrated mode. The degree of trust between the owner and the whole process engineering consulting party is required to be higher and the relationship is close, and the performance of the whole process engineering consulting project depends on the integrated cooperation among all the participating parties, and the influence effect of the whole process engineering consulting mode under the concept of organizational integration on the project performance needs to be further revealed and studied. In view of this, this study aims to explore the relationship between organizational integration of whole-process engineering consulting and the owner’s commissioning objectives and project performance, verify and reveal the influence path of project organizational integration on the performance of whole-process engineering consulting projects,so as to enrich the theoretical research from the perspective of organizational integration of whole-process engineering consulting projects and provide reference or guidance for the comprehensive implementation and promotion of whole-process engineering consulting mode.In order to explore the influence path of organizational integration of whole-process engineering consulting on project performance, this study is based on the conceptual division and research model of organizational integration in the existing research literature, and integrates the characteristics of the whole-process engineering consulting project as the research object, fully considering the signing of contracts or agreements and the unified value concept among many participants relying on the completion of project performance goals in the whole-process engineering consulting practice. The theoretical model covering 7 variables was constructed, and 24 scale measurement items were finally determined through small sample pre-test statistical analysis.Based on this scale,a large sample of questionnaires was distributed to collect data, and statistical analysis and structural equation modeling methods were used to complete the hypothesis testing and path analysis of the theoretical model of this study. The research results show that the influence of organizational integration on the performance of whole-process engineering consulting projects has two paths, namely, the direct influence path of "organizational integration → performance of whole-process engineering consulting projects" and the indirect influence path of "organizational integration→ contract control/value concept → performance of whole-process engineering consulting projects";and in different hypothetical paths, the degree of intermediary role played by contract control and value concept is different;meanwhile, both contract control and value concept positively regulate the positive contribution of organizational integration to the performance of whole-process engineering consulting projects. This study improves the measurement items of the existing mature scale in the context of whole-process engineering consulting practice, verifies that the integration of whole-process engineering consulting organizations has two types of effects on project performance: direct and indirect, analyzes the mediating and regulating effects of contract control and value concept on the relationship between integration of whole-process engineering consulting organizations and project performance, reveals the influence path of integration of organizations on the performance of whole-process engineering consulting projects, and provides theoretical reference and practical reference for the study of the performance improvement of whole-process engineering consulting projects from the perspective of integration of organizations. |
