Research On The Impact Of Financial Support On Digital Financial Inclusion In Alleviating Multidimensional Poverty

In the fight against poverty,digital inclusive finance not only shows the characteristics of wide coverage and diversified channels,but also has the unique role of providing funds and enhancing the endogenous power of poor households.Strengthening financial support can not only enhance the sustainable development capacity of digital inclusive finance and stimulate its release of more positive externalities,but also fill in the blank areas of multi-dimensional poverty reduction in digital inclusive finance.Therefore,building a long-term mechanism for financial support for digital inclusive finance to alleviate multi-dimensional poverty is an important measure to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation and prevent the return to poverty.Existing literatures have studied from the perspectives of digital financial inclusion and fiscal policy,respectively,but they are rarely considered comprehensively,especially from the perspective of financial support to examine the poverty reduction effect of digital financial inclusion.The research of this paper reveals the internal mechanism of financial support for digital financial inclusion to alleviate multi-dimensional poverty to a certain extent,and helps government departments to dynamically adjust financial support to promote digital financial inclusion in poverty reduction.Using the CFPS data from 2010 to 2018,this paper calculates my country’s multidimensional poverty index according to the A-F double-boundary method,and calculates the provincial index according to the group separability.On this basis,using the Peking University digital financial inclusion index,special funds for financial inclusion and other data,using the system GMM model and the threshold effect model to explore the impact of financial support on digital financial inclusion in alleviating multi-dimensional poverty.The study found that:first,financial support promotes the development of digital financial inclusion by expanding the breadth and depth of digital financial inclusion;second,financial support has a catalytic effect on digital financial inclusion alleviating multi-dimensional poverty;third,financial support for digital financial inclusion There are regional heterogeneity and dimensional heterogeneity;fourth,there is a threshold for the promotion of financial support for digital inclusive finance to alleviate multi-dimensional poverty.In order to better play the role of finance in supporting digital financial inclusion,promote the long-term development of digital financial inclusion,and improve the effect of financial support for digital financial inclusion in alleviating multidimensional poverty,this paper provides the following possible policy support.First,continue to play the role of financial support in promoting digital financial inclusion in alleviating multidimensional poverty.Second,fiscal support should be dynamically adjusted according to the multi-dimensional poverty reduction process of digital financial inclusion.Third,differentiated fiscal support policies should be formulated for different regions.
