Professional technicians are indispensable talents in the field of laboratory technology.They possess highly specialized technical knowledge and practical experience,can use various technical methods to conduct research and experimental work,solve practical problems,and promote the development and progress of science and technology.Therefore,professional technicians are an integral part of the laboratory,and have important influence and contributions to the development and operation of the laboratory.In recent years,the issue of turnover among professional technicians has also received increasing attention from management and the industry,and practical solutions must be found.The high commitment work system is an employment decision-making system including employee selection,education,use,and stay.It has a positive impact on cultivating employees’ enthusiasm and emotional commitment,identity,work satisfaction and organizational performance,which will help To form a good organizational atmosphere and organizational culture,and let employees work attentively,and then reduce employees’ voluntary resignation or tendencies,enterprises should increase the construction of high commitment systems that are required to build or meet their own business development needs.This study aims to explore how to build a high commitment work system that can effectively attract and motivate the technical personnel required for the business of KM Company’s laboratory.Based on the theoretical framework of high commitment work system,combined with the interview results of relevant staff in the laboratory,this research revised the human resource management survey questionnaire for technical personnel in the laboratory.The questionnaire surveyed the importance of each element of the recruitment and selection,motivation,training and development modules of the high commitment work system in the eyes of technical personnel,as well as the practical implementation of each module in the recruitment and selection,motivation,training and development of the laboratory.Based on the IPA analysis,the data analysis results of this study show that there are obvious deficiencies in the implementation of human resources management incentive module and training and development module in KM Company’s laboratory.Therefore,KM Company should focus on improving the incentive model and training and development of the high commitment work system for technical personnel in the laboratory.In addition,based on the survey results of the questionnaire and the actual situation of KM Company,this study also proposed safeguard measures and suggestions for implementing the high commitment work system in the laboratory.It is hoped that it can effectively promote the personal growth and organizational development of laboratory technical personnel,and provide theoretical guidance and reference plans for similar enterprises and human resource management practices.
