In recent years,China has been strongly advocating and encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship among companies and individuals in an effort to transform China’s economic growth and rely more on the development and advancement of science and technology in order to achieve high-quality sustainable development.As the main force in promoting technological innovation and entrepreneurial activities in China,technology-based start-ups are the most creative and growth potential group,and should be strongly supported to carry out technological innovation,while exploring technology and product innovation management strategies that are in line with China’s national conditions,based on learning and learning from advanced international technologies and practices,in order to achieve a sustained,continuous and effective enhancement of their technological innovation.Company D is a technology-based start-up in the automotive industry,currently focusing on the development and production of in-mould automotive electronic injection moulded products.Although it has achieved certain market performance in product planning and product development,it has encountered many problems that make it difficult for the product to grow rapidly and requires improvement and exploration of product innovation management strategies.This paper takes Company D as the object of study.Based on the analysis of the current production status and R&D innovation capability of in-mould injection moulded automotive electronics products,the strengths and weaknesses of the company in relation to the industry and the risks it faces in the market environment are studied.The theoretical basis and theoretical development of product innovation such as product life cycle theory and corporate product strategy theory are then integrated to develop a practical and feasible product innovation strategy plan for the company in line with market demand.The financial analysis also confirms that the product innovation strategy designed by the enterprise can bring better economic benefits to the enterprise,help the enterprise break through the bottleneck of product development,practically improve the enterprise’s business situation,and find a new direction for sustainable development in the process of implementing product innovation,so that the enterprise has a longer-term development prospect.
