In 2007,China and the Royal Bank of Scotland took the lead in launching private banking business,marking the official landing of Chinese-funded private banks on the stage of history.Compared with other leading banks in China,the private banking business of NB Bank started late but developed rapidly.The team currently has 400 employees and 160 billion assets under management.As a national systematic bank,NB Bank is famous in the commercial banking circle for its "wolf" management culture,and the average annual growth rate of all businesses has reached more than 20%.As the business field that NB Bank has focused on in recent years,private banking is designed to bring professional,personalized,comprehensive financial services and comprehensive non-financial services to high-net-worth customers,and actively seize the market share of domestic high-net-worth customers’ wealth management business.After five years of rapid development,the private banking department of ZH Sub-branch now has 340 private banking customers with more than 6 million assets.In 2021,the number of new customers ranked first in Ningbo area of NB Bank.The team currently has four employees,including one deputy general manager of private bank and three managers of private bank,with a per capita asset management scale of more than 600 million.In 2022,due to the impact of the epidemic and the resignation of the general manager of the private banking department,the business development stagnated for a time.Therefore,it is essential to cultivate a positive,professional and efficient team of private bank managers.At present,developing a comprehensive,scientific and effective performance appraisal plan is the most important part of team building.Located at the entrance of the Yongjiang River,ZH District of Ningbo City has been one of the important ports for China’s foreign exchanges since ancient times,and is known as the "gateway of eastern Zhejiang".In the region,only ZH Sub-branch is a tier-one sub-branch,belonging to an independent regional sub-branch,which can uniformly deploy strategic planning and has no competitive pressure from the Bank.The private economy in the region is developed.In 2021,the regional GDP of ZH District will reach 125.24 billion yuan,up 7.0% year on year.ZH Branch of NB Bank was established in 1997.After 25 years of development,it has an absolute market share in the banking industry in ZH region,which has laid a solid foundation for the development of private banking business.This paper takes the performance appraisal of the private banking department of ZH Branch of NB Bank as the research object,combining with relevant theoretical knowledge and actual situation,and analyzes the problems existing in the current performance appraisal of the private banking department of ZH Branch of NB Bank.At the same time,a series of performance appraisal optimization schemes suitable for the private bank managers of ZH Branch of NB Bank were summarized through interview research,literature reference and other research methods,using the relevant theoretical knowledge of human resources.Make the private banking department truly become the professional support department,talent training department and profit center for the development of sub-branch wealth business.
