With the change of the function orientation of the bank,the interest rate of the domestic financial market is decreasing,the profit of the bank is decreasing,which brings more and more pressure to the development of the bank.The client manager is the direct receiver of the bank’s market performance.How to use and motivate the client manager well is the most important.Although the Shijiazhuang branch of Z Bank has the management autonomy to a large extent,the assessment of the client manager is still only following the guiding plan issued by Z Bank,which is seriously insufficient in individuality,pertinence and motivation,there is an urgent need to improve the performance of Bank Z’s Shijiazhuang Branch,starting with the performance assessment of its account managers.Taking account manager of Bank Z,Shijiazhuang Branch as the research object,the paper makes a special study on the performance appraisal by using literature method and survey method.First of all,through consulting the system documents of Bank Z in Shijiazhuang,we can understand the basic framework of performance appraisal subject,cycle,content and process of account manager;Through interviews and questionnaires,the author finds out the problems in the performance appraisal of customer managers,such as the single subject,the unscientific period,the unsound content and the formality of the performance appraisal process.Further,analyze the cause of the problem,the main reasons are that the participants have not enough knowledge of performance appraisal,the system of performance appraisal is not perfect,the application of information technology is not enough and the culture of performance appraisal is not strong.In view of the existing problems and reasons,this paper optimizes the performance appraisal scheme from the following four aspects: making clear the main body participating in the performance appraisal;According to the characteristics of the post to supplement the content of performance appraisal;performance appraisal for strict management.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimized scheme,the author puts forward the guarantee measures from four aspects: establishing the dynamic adjustment mechanism of the performance appraisal system;organizing the staff to attend the relevant training;strengthening the cultural construction;Strengthen the staff performance appraisal consciousness;actively use electronic information technology.We hope to promote the further development of the bank and play a more active role through the optimization of the Client Manager Assessment Program.
