| Performance appraisal,as an important method to promote business and implement strategy,is an important institutional guarantee for enterprises to achieve high-quality development.Scientific and reasonable performance appraisal is very important for enterprises to implement effective operation of internal mechanism,which can help enterprises achieve higher productivity and sustainable development by measuring employees’ ability and performance.As an important part of Chinese commercial bank system,rural commercial banks adhere to the service orientation of "supporting agriculture and small businesses" and are rooted in local areas,playing a great role in serving the agriculture,farmer and rural area and county economies,and laying a certain market foundation.However,with the increasingly fierce competition in the financial market,national commercial banks,represented by large state-owned commercial banks,have started to serve rural areas,and the advantages accumulated by rural commercial banks in the county area have gradually become smaller.Compared with other banks,rural commercial banks have certain gaps in their performance appraisal systems,and in order to improve their market competitiveness,rural commercial banks need to optimize their human resource management by focusing on optimizing performance appraisal.NY rural commercial bank is a local bank reformed from rural credit cooperatives,due to the relatively short time of reforming,NY rural commercial bank has not yet broken through the traditional concept of performance management,the assessment method is based on the traditional assessment of quantitative financial indicators,which has not kept up with the development of performance management of commercial banks.This paper elaborates the current situation of performance appraisal and the optimization methods of NY rural commercial bank through five parts,firstly,the article briefly introduces the domestic and international research on performance appraisal and the basic concept of performance appraisal.Secondly,the article analyzes the current situation of human resources and the procedures and contents of performance appraisal of NY rural commercial banks in the context of their 2021 annual performance appraisal program.Thirdly,through questionnaire surveys of NY rural commercial bank performance appraisal situation,the paper find out there are some problems such as unreasonable setting of appraisal indexes,immature way of appraisal implementation,and single way of using performance appraisal results,etc.Then,the article analyzes and concludes the reason such as lack of awareness of the importance of performance appraisal,unsound performance appraisal management system,and deviations in the understanding of performance appraisal,etc.Finally,the paper uses methods such as balanced scorecard and 360-degree performance appraisal to optimize the appraisal methods of employees in different positions.As an important part of Chinese commercial bank system,rural commercial banks have some immature aspects of performance appraisal system and there are a few theoretical research on performance appraisal of rural commercial banks.This paper analyzes the problems of performance appraisal in NY rural commercial banks and applies performance appraisal theory to optimize the performance appraisal scheme of rural commercial banks,hoping to provide reference value for further research on performance appraisal in rural commercial banks. |
