Research On Measurement And Influencing Factors Of Integrated Development Between The China’s Logistics And Manufacturing Industries

The integration of the logistics and manufacturing industries is an inevitable trend of industrial development under the new economic normal.In 2022,NDRC and various departments jointly promulgated the implementation plan for the development of "two industries",pointing out the new requirements of deep integration and innovative development.However,China has a vast territory and different regions have different development conditions,and the level of "two industries" integration also varies greatly.Therefore,it is important to study the level of integration between logistics and manufacturing industries in each province of China,find out the differences between regions and further explore the influencing factors,in order to promote the high-quality development and deep integration of "two industries".This article took 30 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in China(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Tibet)as the research object to study the level and influencing factors of integration between China’s logistics and manufacturing industries from 2014 to 2020.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,the level of integration development of the two industries was estimated.On the basis of relevant literature and research results,the current development situation of logistics and manufacturing industries in China was sorted out,and an evaluation index system for the development of logistics and manufacturing industries in the context of high-quality development was constructed in six dimensions:economic benefits,social benefits,ecological benefits,structural optimization,technological innovation and open development.The index weights were determined by the entropy value method,and the comprehensive evaluation index of "two industries" was measured,and then the coupling and coordination model was constructed to measure the integration level of "two industries".The results indicated that: during the study period,the development of China’s logistics and manufacturing industries both increased steadily,and the growth rate of manufacturing industry was higher than that of logistics industry,and the eastern region continued to be in the leading position;the coupling degree of each province was generally high,which showed that the "two industries" were closely related;from the coupling and coordination degree,the integration development of China’s "two industries" is at a barely coordinated level,with large differences between different regions,and there is a relatively broad space for development.Secondly,the influencing factors affecting the integration level of "two industries" were analyzed in a configuration analysis.In this article,the level of integration of "two industries" was used as the outcome variable,and the coupling coordination degree measured in the previous paper was used to measure it;energy consumption,technological innovation,digitalization level,export dependence,and industrial structure was used as five conditional variables,and used the fs QCA method to explore the paths of internal and external factors acting on the integration level of "two industries".The fs QCA method was used to investigate the paths of internal and external factors on the degree of integration of "two industries".The results showed that the integration level of "two industries" was the result of multiple factors,which cannot be explained by any one of them alone;the conditional paths leading to high integration level could be summarized into three types,including "scientific and technological innovation","modern low-carbon" and "balanced development",with obvious "different paths" and potential substitution relationships among the groups;in addition,this article analyzed the groups of low integration level,and found two paths of "backward development" and "lack of vitality",which verified the causal asymmetry hypothesis of the QCA method,and further tested the robustness of the configuration paths by changing the calibration method.Finally,based on the results of the previous research on the measurement of the integration degree of "two industries" and the influencing factors,and taking into account the background of the times and the actual situation,I proposed the paths and suggestions for the deep integration of the "two industries",which will enrich the existing research and provide reference for the development of logistics and manufacturing industries in each region.
