The Impact Of Trade Facilitation On China’s Export Of Service Trade

Along with the rapid progress of economy globalization,inter-nation trade is more and more frequent.The service trade has already been a major method of economic development of various nations.Gross annual growth in the number of imports and exports in the service sector.But its concrete manifestation lies in the fact that its import and export are much smaller than that of new ones.Therefore,it is necessary to develop and adjust the service structure in China.In November 2020,after 11 rounds of ministerial negotiations,the seven-year regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement finally completed all negotiations and was finally determined to be formally implemented on January 1,2021.The implementation of this agreement not only represents the transformation of the world economy from globalization to regionalization,but also because it is the largest free trade area agreement with the highest degree of openness,the widest coverage of projects and the largest scale since all the agreements signed by China.At the same time,the trade volume between RCEP countries and China in various industries has basically been in a positive growth state in recent years.This agreement is undoubtedly a powerful injection into China’s economic development.In addition,the agreement not only facilitates trade in goods,but also facilitates trade in services.Developing free trade and promoting trade facilitation are also important approaches to lowering trade costs,enhance the cost of imports and exports,and improve the structure of imports and exports.The signing of RCEP will not only enhance the scale and level of service trade between countries,but also achieve good economic growth by promoting the degree of convenience of countries.Therefore,In this article,we will make a deep research on the influence of RCEP’s trade facilitation on Chinese service exports.This article is composed of 7 chapters.Firstly,it introduces the background and meaning of this thesis,and then introduces the related documents,methodology,major contents and innovative points of FTA.Chapter two gives a brief introduction to FTA.It consists of the theory of Free Trade,the Comparative Advantage and the Asymmetric Information.Chapter 3 describes the size and structural features of Chinese domestic service trade with RCEP.The results show that the volume of Chinese services exports to RCEP is increasing continuously from 2009-2021.Chapter 4 illustrates the influence of FTA on Chinese service exports by means of illustration.mainly discusses the relation of developing Chinese service trade and facilitating trade.In this part,we also discuss the features of RCEP’s trade facilitation in terms of basic facilities,system,finance and technology.Chapter 5 probes into the current issues of Chinese international trade from the perspective of efficiency,customs,system and electronic commerce.Secondly,from the perspective of four first-order and thirteen second-order indexes,four first-order and thirteen second-order indexes related to trade convenience are selected to build an evaluation system to evaluate the trade convenience among the member countries of RCEP,and then evaluate each country in RCEP.In chapter 6,we discuss the level of trade facilitation in RCEP and TFI in China,the total population of RCEP member countries,the total economic volume of the member countries and China,the openness of the member countries and China’s service trade,the urbanization level of the member countriesand the infrastructure quality of the member countries as explanatory variables to analyze overall amount and composition of Chinese service trade in RCEP.It is found that for every one percent rise in RCEP’s facilitation level,the overall volume of Chinese service trade in RCEP will rise by 0.775 per cent,while the volume of traditional service trade will increase by 1.167%,the total export volume of service trade will increase by 1.24% and the new service trade will increase by 3.233%.It is believed that the promotion of RCEP’s trade facilitation will greatly increase the gross amount of Chinese service trade and enhance its export structure.Chapter 7 is the concluding part of this article,which lists China’s trade facilitation construction opinions,and Lastly,this paper proposes a series of measures to promote Chinese trade facilitation so as to raise the quality of the service trade.
