Research On The Path Of Industrial Structure Upgrading Influenced By China’s Digital Economy Development

The upgrading of industrial structure is an indispensable means for China to break through the barriers of development transition and achieve high-quality economic growth.However,there is still a certain gap between the upgrading of China’s industrial structure and that of developed countries,including the deviation of employment structure and industrial structure and the low added value of products.The global economy is moving towards a new era of Internet-based digital economy,which is fully integrated into production and life and can promote industrial changes and reshape industrial structure by providing innovations in technology,products,business application models and demand-side structure.Therefore,it is of great significance to analyze the theoretical mechanism of digital economy affecting the upgrading of industrial structure and study the ways through which digital economy has an impact on the upgrading of industrial structure.First of all,by combing relevant literature,this paper analyzes the relevant theories on the impact of digital economy development on the upgrading of industrial structure,points out the mechanism of digital economy on the upgrading of industrial structure,and puts forward six research hypotheses.Then based on the data collating,it analyzes the development level of the digital economy and upgrading of industrial structure in our country,and points the problems that the digital economy promotes upgrading of the industrial structure of our country at the present stage.Secondly,the index system of digital economy and industrial structure upgrading is constructed to measure the development level of digital economy and industrial structure upgrading level,and the results are sorted out.Finally,the panel data of 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)from 2013 to 2021(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Xizang)are selected to empirically-test the hypothesis on the path of industrial structure upgrading affected by digital economy development with structural equation model.The results show that:(1)the total influence coefficient of the development of digital economy on the upgrading of industrial structure is 0.751,indicating that when the development level of digital economy increases by 1 unit,the upgrading level of industrial structure increases by 0.751 units,that is,the development of digital economy significantly promotes the upgrading level of industrial structure.(2)The direct influence coefficient of digital economy development on industrial structure upgrading is 0.159,and the total indirect influence coefficient is 0.592.In the indirect influence path,the impact of digital economy promoting industrial structure upgrading by promoting consumption structure upgrading> the impact of digital economy promoting industrial structure upgrading by promoting human capital structure upgrading = The digital economy promotes the upgrading of consumption structure by promoting the upgrading of human capital structure,thus promoting the impact of industrial structure upgrading > The impact of digital economy promoting the upgrading of industrial structure by promoting scientific and technological innovation > The digital economy promotes scientific and technological innovation by promoting the upgrading of human capital structure,thus promoting the impact of industrial structure upgrading.Therefore,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: to comprehensively improve the development level of digital economy;And with human capital,technological innovation and consumption upgrading as important starting points,to build the intermediary bridge of digital economy and industrial structure upgrading.
