Research On The Impact Of New Urbanization On The Upgrading Of Industrial Structure In Yunnan Province

Since the 18th CPC National Congress,the Central Committee has deeply realized the importance of driving economic growth and promoting economic transformation,actively promoted new urbanization,and promoted the optimization of industrial structure,which has made great progress in the national economy.However,although Yunnan Province has made remarkable achievements under the promotion of new urbanization,it is still lagging behind in comparison with the developed regions.By 2021,Yunnan Province’s urbanization rate is 51%,which is significantly lower than the national average of 64%,indicating that the level of urbanization,industrial structure and economic development of Yunnan Province are still lagging behind in a sense.Due to the particularity of each region,the exploration of new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading must be tailored to local conditions,and at present,while our country attaches great importance to the high-quality development,the coordinated development of regional also pay much attention to,from this perspective,the research of new urbanization in less developed areas on the industrial structure upgrading necessity is self-evident.Therefore,according to the situation of Yunnan Province,this paper constructs the index system of new urbanization in Yunnan Province,explores the evolution law of new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading in Yunnan province from the perspective of time and space,provides a strong proof for the promotion of new urbanization in Yunnan Province to the upgrading of local industrial structure,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on this basis to better promote the high-quality development of Yunnan Province’s economy.By sorting out relevant literature,the connotation of new urbanization,industrial structure upgrading and other related objects is defined,which lays a theoretical foundation for the subsequent construction of new urbanization comprehensive evaluation index system and industrial structure upgrading coefficient in this paper.Following the principle of index system construction and new development concept,and according to the connotation of new urbanization,the comprehensive evaluation index of new urbanization in Yunnan Province is constructed by combining the six aspects of population,economy,land,society,ecology and urban-rural overall urbanization,and the development level of new urbanization in Yunnan Province is calculated by entropy weight method.The three industries are assigned different weights to construct the upgrading coefficient of industrial structure.This thesis analyzes the development level of new urbanization in Yunnan Province and the development status of industrial structure in Yunnan province,and then makes an empirical study to analyze the impact of new urbanization on the upgrading of industrial structure with panel model.The main research conclusions of this thesis are as follows: Firstly,on the whole,the development level of new urbanization in Yunnan Province and its four regions is on the rise,and the central Yunnan region is much higher than other regions,and the gap is getting larger and larger.Secondly,the upgrading level of industrial structure in Yunnan Province shows a rising trend,among which the central Yunnan region is the highest.Thirdly,the new urbanization of Yunnan Province can promote the upgrading of its industrial structure,especially in western and eastern Yunnan Province,which has a more significant promoting effect.Therefore,corresponding policy suggestions are put forward: accelerate the construction of new urbanization and promote coordinated regional development;make use of comparative advantages to cultivate characteristic industries;make use of the location advantages to build a new highland of opening up to the outside world;accelerate the market-oriented reform of factors and stimulate market vitality.
