Research On The Profit Model Under The Asset-Light Operation Of Three Squirrels Inc.

In the era of the Internet economy,it is particularly important for companies to find a set of profit models that suit them if they want to gain strong profitability.In recent years,the profit model under asset-light operation has been welcomed by many companies.It is characterized by the fact that companies mainly use resources in product research and development,publicity and marketing,and other high value-added links,and outsource low-value-added production and procurement links,to achieve the rational use of resources.However,the profit model under asset-light operation also has certain outsourcing risks.The financial characteristics of enterprises adopting the asset-light profit model and the operational problems they face have become the hot spots of academic research at home and abroad.This article selects Three Squirrel Inc.as case company,and uses case analysis method,literature analysis method and questionnaire survey method to discuss its profit model under asset-light operation.First,based on the research results of scholars at home and abroad,it summarizes the relevant literature on asset-light and profit models,and defines the relevant concepts of asset-light and profit models.In terms of theory,The Smile Curve Theory,The Balanced Scorecard and The Economic Value Added are introduced to provide a theoretical basis for the analysis of the profit model under asset-light operation.After introducing the basic situation of the Three Squirrels Inc.,the existing profit models of the Three Squirrels Inc.are studied according to the financial dimension,customer dimension,internal process dimension,learning and growth dimension of the balanced scorecard theory.Finally,from the perspective of the components of the profit model,the problems and reasons of the profit model under the light asset operation of the Three Squirrels Inc.are analyzed and summarized,and specific improvement measures are put forward on this basis.Through the research on the profit model of the Three Squirrels Inc.under the light asset operation,this paper excavates the defects in the operation of the existing profit model and puts forward suggestions for improvement,so as to help them optimize the profit model,enhance their competitiveness in new retail enterprises,and promote them to be faster and more efficient.
