Research On The Working Capital Management Of Three Squirrels Under The Asset-light Operation Mode

In recent years,with the rise of people’s demand for a better life,China’s residents’ demand for leisure food is also rising,while leisure food enterprises are facing the challenge of extremely serious product homogenization in the market.In order to make timely responses to the changes in the external environment and to effectively manage the working capital,which is the flowing blood of the enterprise,it is especially important to choose a suitable operation model.The asset-light operation mode is a kind of operation mode with fever resources,faster turnover,and higher profitability.It makes enterprises pay more attention to research and development capabilities to ensure that they can continuously launch innovative and novel products,enhance their core competitiveness and maximize value by focusing resources on high-value links in the value chain,such as building brand characteristics,improving management capabilities and broadening sales channels,and strengthening the importance of intangible assets.In the whole operation process of enterprises,working capital is always invested,consumed,and reused,and enterprises need to strengthen the role of each link of the value chain to ensure the rapid flow of their own liquid blood and create maximum value.Then,whether the asset-light operation mode can effectively improve the management level of enterprise working capital through the operation of the value chain is also the issue that needs to be studied and analyzed in this paper.With the development of the economy,China’s casual food industry has a broad development prospect,but also because of the good development prospect,the competition among enterprises is also big,in this situation,whether enterprises can improve the working capital management level through reasonable management of the value chain becomes very important.In this paper,we select Three Squirrels,which adopts the asset-light operation model,as a case study,and analyze the current situation of working capital management of Three Squirrels from the perspective of overall and value chain through four analysis methods,namely literature analysis,case study,index analysis,and comparative analysis,based on the asset-light operation model and working capital management,to find out what other aspects of working capital management of Three Squirrels In order to provide a reference for other enterprises in the industry and to promote the development of the casual food e-commerce industry.After analysis,the article finds that:(1)the asset-light operation mode of Three Squirrels has led to the optimization of its internal working capital structure,and the two are mutually accomplished;(2)the working capital management level of Three Squirrels is gradually increasing,and the utilization of the asset-light characteristic of emphasizing R&D rather than production makes the enterprise’s cash reserves high and keeps good development;(3)through horizontal and vertical comparisons,the paper analyzes that the working capital management of Three Squirrels(3)Through horizontal and vertical comparisons,the working capital management of Three Squirrels can still be optimized,and both Three Squirrels and other enterprises in the same industry can refer to relevant optimization suggestions to optimize their own working capital management.
