| With the development of social economy and the opening of the national comprehensive three child policy,more and more mother and infant families have quietly upgraded their consumption concept of postpartum care needs.Maternal and infant care institutions represented by the postpartum care centre began to grow like bamboo shoots after a spring rain,but they often entered the market blindly by adopting a heavy investment model in the early stage and providing a single service content,and finally continued to lose money.At present,most maternal and infant care institutions focus on puerperal care and newborn care.Because there is no uniform service staff working standard and special qualification certification institution,the threshold for mother and child care institutions to enter is low.The high unit price and high cost of the supply side heavy asset model also limit the profitability.In addition,the population birth rate is declining year by year,the market competition is relatively fierce,and there is a high profit threshold.However,with the longitudinal extension of mothers and infants’ demand for nursing services in the value chain,the future development prospects are still very broad.Enterprises that have taken the lead in optimizing their industrial layout through business models are expected to fully benefit from the blue ocean expansion dividend of the industry and gain sustained competitive advantages by raising industry barriers.In order to better reveal the micro factors and mechanisms of business performance and competitive advantage differences,it is the primary task for traditional mother and child care service enterprises to survive and develop under the current situation to obtain sustainable competitiveness and realize enterprise value by optimizing the business model.This article takes BD Maternal and Infant Care Company as a typical example.First,it analyzes the current situation of BD Maternal and Infant Care Company.After briefly describing the related concepts and theories involved,it analyzes the problems and causes of problems in the business model based on Wei Zhu’s six elements business model theory by analyzing the basic situation,business status,market competition and current business model of BD Maternal and Infant Care Company.Subsequently,based on the macro environment analysis,industry environment analysis and SWOT analysis of BD Maternal and Infant Care Company,a targeted business model optimization scheme was proposed from the perspective of stakeholders and symbionts: after optimizing the five elements of positioning,business system,key resource capacity,profit model and cash flow structure,it was built into a platform based enterprise that provides overall solutions of maternal and infant care service,the value of the enterprise in the whole industry chain was comprehensively improved to obtain higher investment value and the ability to grasp financing opportunities.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the business model optimization program,this paper proposes safeguards from four aspects: organizational structure,technical support,financial capacity and corporate culture. |
