As the novel coronavirus pneumonia(COVID-19)spreads across the globe,the word health has gained unprecedented attention among societies,businesses and individuals.Creating a healthy workplace and organizational climate must not ignore the role of leadership.At the same time,with the development of the times,the hierarchical boundaries between leaders and employees are becoming more and more blurred,and leaders need to improve their influence and affinity.Humor has become an increasingly important leadership characteristic of leaders.Therefore,this paper uses health-promoting leadership and leadership humor as independent variables and employee innovation performance as outcome variables to study the impact of health-promoting leadership and leadership humor on employee innovation performance in organizations.According to the broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions,positive emotions can promote the physical and mental health of individuals,build lasting development resources for individuals,provide individuals with innovative inspiration and development potential,and promote individual innovation performance,situation,And individual positive emotion is affected by organizational environment and leadership,so this paper uses employee positive emotion as a mediating variable to study its mediating role between leadership and employee innovation performance.To sum up,this paper mainly studies the relationship between health-promoting leadership and leadership humor,employee innovation performance and employee positive emotion.The specific research process is as follows:firstly,the relevant literature is reviewed and sorted out,and theoretical models and research hypotheses are proposed;secondly,the survey scale is designed and a formal questionnaire is formed;thirdly,an online questionnaire survey is carried out.and SPSS 24.0 and Mplus 8.3 software are used to analyze the data.The data is analyzed and tested;finally,according to the model demonstration,research conclusions,management suggestions and future prospects are drawn.The study found that health-promoting leadership and leadership humor have a significant positive impact on employee innovation performance,and employee positive emotions play a positive mediating role.
