The Impact Of Logistics And Transportation Development In The Southern Coastal Region On Foreign Trade Import And Export

Since the reform and development,foreign trade import and export has contributed a lot to the development of China’s national economy.The total amount of China’s foreign trade import and export grew from RMB 415,592 million in 1989 to RMB 32,222,524 million in 2020,an increase of 77.53 times.Foreign trade import and export has strongly driven the rapid development of the national economy,and is one of the important pillars of China’s national economic development.The southern coastal region is the frontier of China’s reform and development,and its foreign trade import and export is very active and has made important contributions to China’s foreign trade import and export and economic development.Along with the rapid development of the economy,China has continued to increase the construction efforts in the logistics and transportation industry,and the development of logistics and transportation has made great progress.These great progress in logistics and transportation industry objectively also promote the development of China’s foreign trade import and export.The construction of logistics and transportation system in the southern coastal region has made great achievements since the reform and development.According to the data in 2020,the total freight turnover of the southern coastal region reached 3,990.8 billion ton-kilometers,accounting for 19.7%of the national total,favorably supporting the development of the region’s economy and foreign trade import and export.However,it is found through the data statistics that the share of logistics transportation data(especially road and railroad data)in the three provinces of the southern coastal region in the country is lower than the share of the region’s economy and total foreign trade import and export in the country.Based on the data of the southern coastal region,this paper will organize and summarize the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the development of logistics and transportation on foreign trade import and export trade,and describe the current situation of foreign trade import and export and the development of logistics and transportation in the southern coastal region,the historical development trend and the way of influence,under the title of the influence of logistics and transportation development on foreign trade import and export trade in the southern coastal region.Finally,through empirical analysis,a linear data model is established to verify the impact and extent of freight turnover and mileage of each southern coastal region transportation mode on foreign trade import and export trade data.In order to present new research results based on the results derived from the conclusions of the empirical analysis.
