Research On Optimization Of Working Capital Management Of Company A Based On Value Chain

The development of the pharmaceutical industry is related to the improvement of the quality of living standards of the residents,and it is closely related to People’s Daily life.In recent years,China has issued a number of policies to improve the construction of the national medical system.For example,the introduction of the two-vote system,the restriction of resistance,the restriction of transport,and the collection of drugs has greatly changed the pattern of the pharmaceutical market.Starting from 2020,the coronavirus pandemic has increased the public’s dependence on pharmaceutical companies,which has brought both opportunities and pressure to pharmaceutical companies.How the pharmaceutical industry can achieve stable and healthy continuous operation under the background of the new medical reform is a problem that every pharmaceutical enterprise needs to think about.Working capital is an important factor that runs through the whole process of production and management of each enterprise.Therefore,the effective management of enterprise working capital is an important guarantee to realize the sustainable operation of enterprises.Taking Company A as the research object,this paper applies analysis methods such as case analysis and analytic hierarchy process,and based on relevant theories such as value chain,firstly analyzes the current situation of Company A’s working capital from the perspective of capital structure and capital scale,and then makes an in-depth analysis of Company A’s working capital from the perspective of value chain.Thirdly,the analytic hierarchy Process(AHP)is applied to divide the factors affecting the working capital management level of Company A into four criterion layers: procurement,production,sales and external coordination.On this basis,14 indicators are refined into the scheme layer,a judgment matrix is constructed,and industry experts and scholars are invited to give scores,so as to clarify the weight ratio of each indicator in the index system.The final score of Company A’s performance evaluation is calculated by analyzing and screening indicators through YAAHP software and adjusting through consistency test.Finally,according to the scores of experts and scholars,the grades are divided and the comprehensive evaluation results are obtained.Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the working capital management of Company A,this paper puts forward targeted suggestions from the procurement,production,sales and external value chain,respectively,based on the evaluation results of the company’s working capital management.The suggestions mainly include:(1)procurement link: establish the overall thinking,unify the enterprise concept,and adopt new procurement methods;(2)Production links: optimize the internal management structure of production links;(3)Sales link: accelerate the transformation of digital marketing model,strengthen the management of accounts receivable;(4)External coordination: improve the selection of suppliers,establish a hierarchical management platform for suppliers and other measures.Safeguard measures:(1)Build a company concept based on the value chain;(2)Strengthen the team of professional talents;(3)Establish an information sharing system.The above relevant suggestions and safeguard measures are expected to help Company A maximize its benefits in each link and bring lasting benefits protection,and also provide certain references and suggestions for the same type of enterprises in working capital management.
