Study On Coupling Development Of Agriculture And Tourism In Wenzhou City

After the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the important concept of rural revitalization for the first time,the report of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China once again emphasized the primacy of rural revitalization in China.Agriculture and tourism are two indispensable supports for the healthy development of a region’s economy.Therefore,accelerating the integration of agriculture and tourism is not only an important way to accelerate rural revitalization,but also an important way to beautify the rural environment,raise farmers’ incomes and enhance people’s well-being.In recent years,With the deepening of urbanization and the improvement of residents’ income levels,policies related to rural revitalization have been implemented in the vast rural areas,and the integration of agriculture and tourism has derived a new definition.With the emergence of new consumption patterns such as leisure agriculture and rural tourism,the public’s consumption concept in travel and tourism has undergone a great change.Urban residents who have been under high pressure and fastpaced life for a long time are increasingly eager to get the opportunity to go to rural areas for relaxation and leisure.This change makes leisure agriculture and rural tourism and other new forms of business with strong local flavor began to be gradually favored by the majority of people.In this context,rural revitalization has ushered in new opportunities for the joint development of agriculture and tourism.Wenzhou is located in the southeast of Zhejiang Province,with a wide variety of local characteristic agricultural products.Located in the hilly terrain of southern Zhejiang,Wenzhou is a tourist resort with a blend of mountains and rivers.It has a solid foundation in terms of agricultural resources and tourism resources,which can be fully developed and excavated.However,Wenzhou is only in the initial stage of rural and tourism coupling.It is necessary for all sectors of society to promote the process of rural and tourism integration from a deeper level and a larger scope,and to help rural revitalization through rural and tourism coupling development.This paper takes Wenzhou City as the research object,on the basis of discussing the conditions for the integrated development of agriculture and tourism in Wenzhou City,the coupling dynamics and mechanism of agriculture and tourism,and analyzes the agricultural development of Wenzhou City from three aspects: agricultural economy,agricultural population,and agricultural resources.The level of tourism development is comprehensively evaluated,and the level of tourism development is comprehensively evaluated from three aspects: tourism economy,number of tourists and tourism resources.The coupling coordination analysis method and grey correlation analysis method are used to measure the coupling between agriculture and tourism in Wenzhou City from 2011 to 2020,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)From the situation of synchronous development of the two industries,the development of agriculture was advanced during 2011-2013,the development of the two industries was synchronized during 2014-2015,and after 2016,tourism exceeded agriculture.(2)From 2011 to 2020,the coupling coordination levels of agriculture and tourism in Wenzhou fluctuated among three levels: mild discoordination,near discoordination and barely coordination,but the overall coordination level was not high.(3)The correlation between agriculture and tourism in Wenzhou is generally higher,and the correlation between various indicators of agriculture and the overall indicators of the corresponding system is stronger than that of tourism.Based on the above conclusions and the actual situation of agriculture and tourism in Wenzhou,this article proposes relevant suggestions for the coupled development of agriculture and tourism in Wenzhou.
