In May 2016,the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the innovation driven development strategy,emphasizing that scientific and technological innovation is the strategic support for improving social productivity and comprehensive national strength,and must be placed at the core of the overall national development.Science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises are an important part of China’s social innovation system and one of the important driving forces of China’s macroeconomic development.As a start-up enterprise with innovation as the core,how to survive and realize its own development and find its own innovation and growth path is related to whether it can successfully create a new situation of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" and whether it can build the great goal of "innovation country".This paper takes ml company as the research object,and carries on the competitive strategy analysis and research based on the strategic management theory.Through on-site interviews and questionnaires,PEST analysis,QSPM matrix,EFE matrix and IFE matrix are comprehensively used to analyze the internal and external environment of ML company,to evaluate the internal and external key elements of ML company in a quantitative way,to analyze the feasibility of the company’s alternative competitive strategy,and to determine a strategic plan with centralized and differentiated competitive strategy as the dominant and resource patching and lean entrepreneurship as the auxiliary.This paper aims to make ML company obtain long-term development in the fierce market competition through the selection and implementation of its centralized and differentiated competitive strategy and other strategies.At the same time,it provides reference and reference for similar small and medium-sized scientific and technological start-ups to improve the status quo and gain competitive advantages.
