With the rapid development of China’s economy,the business environment changes with each passing day.The rapid update and iteration of products in the market makes enterprises constantly examine their own innovation ability,and put forward requirements for employees:they should not only be able to cope with the pressing time pressure quickly,but also to finish the work with high quality and creativity.However,although the modern organizational atmosphere and work concept have begun to change,in the practice of enterprises,managers still advocate creative behavior within the norms mostly,but ignore the promotion of the construction of deviant behavior beyond the norms beneficial to the organization.Therefore,after managers implement time-related leadership behaviors to control the overall work pace of the team,how to make employees carry out constructive behaviors beneficial to the well-being of the company and its members according to their own characteristics,flexibly respond to the changeable environment of the enterprise,and creatively complete work tasks with high quality and high quantity have become the issues that must be considered in management.First of all,this paper reviews the literature on the concepts of temporal leadership,constructive deviant behavior,regulatory focus and self-efficacy of domestic and foreign scholars,and then defines and expounds their concepts and theories.Secondly,a chain mediation model of the influence of temporal leadership on constructive deviant behavior is constructed based on leadership behavior theory,social exchange theory,and moderating focus theory.Then,based on the data of valid questionnaires,data statistical software SPSS22.0 and AMOS21.0 were used for data analysis.Descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis,structural equation model,Bootstrap method and hierarchical regression model were used to empirically test the hypotheses.Finally,according to the research results and the development status of enterprises,the countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the constructive deviant behavior of employees under the current situation are put forward,in order to provide theoretical reference and decision-making basis for enterprises to improve management quality in the future.The results show that :(1)temporal leadership positively affects innovative,challenging,and interpersonal constructive deviant behavior;(2)Defensive regulatory focus,promotion regulatory focus and self-efficacy played mediating roles between temporal leadership and the three types of constructive deviant behavior;(3)Defensive regulatory focus and self-efficacy played a chain mediating role between temporal leadership and three types of constructive deviant behavior;(4)Promotion regulatory focus and self-efficacy played a chain mediating role between temporal leadership and three types of constructive deviant behavior.
