Evaluation On The Construction Effect Of Demonstration Society Of Farmers’ Professional Cooperatives In Henan Province

Farmers’ professional cooperative is an important organizational form of the new agricultural management subject,which plays an important role in China’s agricultural development.With the promulgation of the law on Farmers’ professional cooperatives in 2007,the number of farmers’ professional cooperatives has increased sharply.Behind the increase in the number of registered farmers’ professional cooperatives,the development of cooperatives is facing many problems,such as "shell cooperatives",non-standard operation,unworthy of the name and so on.In order to solve the adverse phenomenon of farmers’ professional cooperatives,the demonstration society of farmers’ professional cooperatives came into being,and the relevant policies are constantly inclined to the demonstration society.However,the problems in the practical development of farmers’ professional cooperative model society are becoming more and more prominent,which leads to a certain deviation between the policy expectation and the actual development of the model society.Taking Henan Province as the research object,this paper mainly evaluates the effectiveness of the construction of demonstration cooperatives of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Henan Province,analyzes the sample data monitored by405 demonstration cooperatives obtained from the Department of agriculture and rural areas of Henan Province through descriptive statistics,and understands the development status and shortcomings of demonstration cooperatives of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Henan Province.By combing the construction objectives of the demonstration society of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Henan Province,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of the construction effectiveness of the demonstration society of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Henan Province.The indicators are six secondary indicators and 17 sub indicators: economic strength,brand development potential,management ability,social influence ability,radiation driving ability and service ability.In the application of the evaluation method,firstly,the analytic hierarchy process is used to weight the indicators of the construction of the demonstration society and calculate the weight value of each indicator.Secondly,it makes an empirical analysis on the construction effect of demonstration cooperatives of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Henan Province.41 demonstration cooperatives are selected according to the ratio of 1:10 from 405 sample data,the evaluation score of the construction effect of demonstration cooperatives is calculated,and then the evaluation results are analyzed.The main conclusions are as follows: first,the overall construction effect score of the demonstration society of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Henan Province is not high,and the construction situation is significantly unbalanced.Second,the economic strength is relatively the best in the construction of demonstration society.The better development of economic strength can make up for the deficiencies in other aspects to a certain extent.Third,the overall evaluation score of brand building and social impact is low,and the construction effect is not ideal.Finally,according to the evaluation results,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: first,strengthen the brand construction of farmers’ professional cooperatives.Second,strengthen the social impact capacity-building of farmers’ professional cooperatives.Third,we should do a good job in the introduction of professionals in the demonstration society of farmers’ professional cooperatives.Fourth,improve the service and driving capacity of farmers’ professional cooperatives.Fifth,improve the management ability of model cooperatives of farmers’ professional cooperatives.In order to promote the healthy development of the demonstration society of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Henan Province.
