Research On Operation Optimization Of Financial Shared Service Center Of Power Grid Company In Region

The model of financial shared service center has been adopted by Chinese companies for many years.Especially in many large cross-regional and transnational enterprises,the centers have been applied successfully.With the help of a financial shared service center,the headquarter office of a group company can monitor subsidiaries in different regions more effectively,it also saving operating costs and improve management.However,for many enterprises,their financial shared service centers are still very labor intensive,and the development is not yet satisfactory.The value of the it is far more than standard and centralized accounting,it should be found better in cross-region business enterprises when eliminating information share problem and help with cross-region decision-making process.This paper takes the financial shared service center of a power grid company in G region as the main body of this case study.It will focus on solving the following issues: information gap between business and financial sectors;horizontal comparability of financial indicators;quality of accounting information;overall resource allocation of enterprises;and problems of financial personnel.And this paper also uses management theories such as Process Reengineering Theory,Business-finance Integration Theory,and Resource Integration Theory that constructed by financial shared service centers,to help with analyzing case company current problems existing in its organizational structure,enterprise internal control,business process,and financial personnel management of the financial shared service center.Furthermore,this paper will propose corresponding solutions and suggestions.This is not only a financial shared service model solution for these unique state-owned enterprises,but also has reference value for other enterprises that also have the same problem.
