| The practice of business management proves that the achievement of strategic objectives of enterprise would not only need sufficient manpower,finance and materials but also should clearly understand how to make rational use of these resources to maximize their usefulness.A good organizational structure is the basis for ensuring the effective operation of all departments of the enterprise and giving full play to their overall advantages.Through optimizing the organizational structure and intensifying the reform,the responsibilities of each department are clarified and the coordination and cooperation among departments are strengthened,thus enhancing competitive advantages and promoting sustainable development of enterprises.The former of GH Company is an environmental protection engineering company,mainly responsible for undertaking environmental protection projects of the government,enterprises and people.Along with the development of business and the expansion of the company scale,all kinds of management problems are shown in the original structure of the company,such as overlapping functions,confusion of responsibilities,poor system of key processes and low efficiency.These problems seriously affects the further development of the company,so it needs urgently to have an optimized design for the organization structure.Through literature review,relevant theories on organizational structure,previous research results on factors affecting organizational structure optimization,organizational structure optimization design methods and other previous research results are well sorted out,laying a foundation for the study.The theories applied in the research are described,including System Theory,Contingency Theory and Reengineering Corporation Theory.Adopting literature research,questionnaire survey and field investigation,this paper goes deep into GH Company,systematically analyzing its organizational structure and the problems existing in the organizational structure of the company,including the mismatch between organizational structure and development strategy,poor organizational communication,etc.,and specifically explores the causes of these problems.Then,based on the actual development of GH Company and specific organizational structure problems,this paper puts forward the optimization scheme of the organizational structure that is coordinated with its development.GH Company should adopt the group management mode,with the headquarter setting up its corresponding operation management centers in accordance with different management and service functions,and corresponding operation division or wholly-owned subsidiary.And each business segment becomes the subject of first-level responsibility,and the first-level responsible person is set up to clarify the responsibilities and rights of each division or subsidiary,so as to realize the unified management mode of headquarters.Finally,the guarantee measures of organizational structure optimization are put forward.Therefore,GH Company should pay attention to the guarantee of organizational mechanism,strengthen the construction of corporate culture,define the implementation of target management,and stress information technology support. |
