Study On The Efficiency And Its Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Land Use In Henan Province

Since the 2008 financial crisis,the global food has been in a tight balance between supply and demand,and food prices have been rising.After the outbreak of the "Xinguan" epidemic in 2020,especially the recent geopolitical conflict between Russia and Ukraine,the shortage of global food supply and the sharp rise in food prices have once again sounded the alarm for us to maintain food security.On the premise of the limited number of agricultural land in China,we should improve the real estate production efficiency of existing agricultural land,To increase grain production by all means is the foundation of China’s Centennial plan.As the largest grain Province in China and the granary of China,Henan’s food security is related to the overall situation of national food security.Studying how to improve Henan’s agricultural land use rate and output rate plays an important role in maintaining China’s food security and improving farmers’ income.Based on the deficiency of the existing research literature in the time series comprehensive research of agricultural land use efficiency in Henan Province,the author hopes to innovate in this aspect,in order to find a way to further improve the agricultural land use efficiency in Henan Province.Through literature review and field research,this paper analyzes the data of the current situation of agricultural land use in Henan Province in more than ten years,and summarizes that under the background of the improvement of agricultural land use efficiency in Henan Province year by year,there are also some problems,such as the imbalance of agricultural land use structure,the lack of cultivated land per capital,the non-agricultural phenomenon of agricultural land and so on.Based on the diminishing marginal utility theory,land scale economy theory,land intensive use theory and other basic economic theories,this paper uses the principal component analysis and quantitative analysis method to calculate the intensive use efficiency of agricultural land in Henan from 2008 to 2019,analyzes the positive and negative changes of the comprehensive use efficiency of agricultural land in Henan over the past ten years,and summarizes the main factors that make the use efficiency of agricultural land in Henan,including agricultural fertilizer input,index,multiple cropping index Irrigation index,sowing proportion of grain crops,per capital disposable income of rural households,labor output value,per capital output value of land,per capital GDP of agricultural land,per unit yield of grain,per capital agricultural output value,food security coefficient,grain output per unit area and other 12 favorable factors.It also summarizes four main negative factors restricting the improvement of agricultural land use efficiency in Henan,including imperfect rural infrastructure,lack of rural skilled labor force,small per capital land occupation in rural areas,inadequate promotion of agricultural science and technology and so on.In view of the above four main factors restricting the improvement of agricultural land use efficiency in Henan,this paper puts forward the following four targeted policy suggestions:first,adhere to the policy guidance and develop modern agriculture;second,develop digital agriculture and improve the level of agricultural science and technology;Third,optimize the input of agricultural factors and improve the comprehensive production capacity of agricultural land;Fourth,practice the concept of green development and promote sustainable development.
