| Digital industrial transformation is a new round of global industrial competition,and has become an important part of the national economy.In2019,China’s digital economy accounted for more than 30% of GDP and contributed 66.7% to the economy.As a basic industry in the national economy,logistics industry is one of the three basic elements of modern social and economic development,and its importance is self-evident.As an important part of the logistics industry,the application of digital technology will have a huge impact on the business operation of logistics companies.In recent years,the Chinese government has issued favorable policies and made important arrangements for the development of digital economy,which has laid a strong guarantee for the development of digital commodity logistics.W Company is a traditional bulk commodity logistics company.The main business of the company involves the logistics and warehousing business of bulk commodities from upstream raw material suppliers to downstream customers.The main profit points are logistics revenue and warehousing revenue.With the deepening of urbanization in China,the demand for steel is also growing rapidly,which has led to the rapid development of steel logistics.However,the entry threshold of bulk commodity logistics is not high,which intensifies the homogenization of market competition and gradually dilutes the profits of bulk logistics enterprises.In this context,the main competitors of W Company have introduced digital technology to drive business process transformation,improve operational efficiency and increase the competitiveness of enterprises.Therefore,how to use digital technology to improve logistics efficiency,reduce logistics costs,and improve the competitiveness of enterprises will become the top priority of the future development of W company.This thesis takes the core business process of W bulk logistics company as the research object,based on the existing research results and related theories,through the analysis of competitive advantage elements,combined with W company’s own strategic planning,to determine the core business process of W company.With the method of putting forward problems,analyzing problems and solving problems as the research idea,combined with my work practice,through on-site research,interviews with senior leaders of the company and other methods,I have a deep understanding of the core business operation process of W Company and the problems existing in the process.Fishbone diagram and Pareto diagram are used to diagnose the problems of W Company,such as long turnover period of goods,high transportation cost and poor interaction of information system,and to find out the key factors behind these problems.In the fourth chapter,based on ESIA as the theoretical basis of business process optimization,combined with the current situation of W company,through the introduction of car networking,RFID and other digital technologies to replace the manual work of non-value-added nodes to the greatest extent,increase the accuracy of data collection and efficiency of information transmission.Then,with SAP as the core operating system,the company’s old CRM,WMS and other system data are integrated,and the future core business processes are comprehensively analyzed and evaluated from the two dimensions of cost reduction and efficiency enhancement,and the direction of improvement is obtained to help enterprises realize the transformation of intelligent manufacturing and simplify the complexity of enterprises.Finally,through the organizational structure adjustment,the establishment of process improvement project team and the upgrading of information systems,this thesis puts forward the relevant safeguard measures to ensure that the core business process optimization of W Company can be carried out smoothly,and makes an effect evaluation of the optimization effect.It is hoped that through the research on the core business process optimization of W Company,new momentum will be provided for the transformation and upgrading of W Company,and reference ideas will be provided for the digital transformation process optimization of other traditional bulk logistics enterprises. |
