Supply Chain Dynamic Capability And Enterprise Performance

In recent years,the international political and economic situation has been complex and changeable,and the domestic manufacturing industry is facing the problem of being "stuck" by the supply chains of developed countries such as Europe and the United States(note the punctuation here because it is in Chinese).Misfortunes do not come singly.The outbreak of the new crown epidemic at the end of 2019 has caused the global economic situation to fluctuate and slump.In such a difficult environment,enterprises with better supply chain dynamic capabilities can help them better cope with internal and external risks,seize development opportunities,establish competitive advantages,and become the industry leader.Therefore,according to the expansion of dynamic capability theory in supply chain,based on enterprise capability theory,resource-based view theory,supply chain management theory,etc.,this paper uses the coding technology of grounded theory to analyze supply chain innovation capability,supply chain collaboration capability and supply chain agility.The three dimensions of sexual capability construct BYD’s supply chain dynamic capability structure and conduct an in-depth analysis of its development.The study found that(1)the dynamic capabilities of the supply chain of the case company are manifested in three aspects: supply chain innovation capability,supply chain collaboration capability,and supply chain agility capability.(2)Case The dynamic capability of the company’s supply chain develops dynamically with the adjustment of the company’s strategic focus.Under the vertical integration strategy,the company’s supply chain dynamic capabilities are mainly manifested in supply chain collaboration capabilities and supply chain innovation capabilities.manage.Under the open supply chain development strategy,BYD’s supply chain dynamic capabilities are mainly manifested in supply chain collaboration capabilities,supply chain innovation capabilities and supply chain agility.Based on the globalized supply chain strategy and open collaboration,the company has carried out collaborative innovation in the supply chain with the value of the industrial chain as the core,making BYD officially move from "technology introduction" to "technology output".On the other hand,by improving strategic decision-making ability and risk response ability,we can obtain good benefits in an unfavorable development environment and achieve the goal of sustainable development.(3)The development of dynamic capabilities of the case company’s supply chain has had different impacts on corporate performance.In the vertical integration stage,the supply chain dynamic capability improves R&D water and profitability by vertically integrating resources,improving cost-effectiveness,developing core technologies,and enhancing knowledge innovation capabilities.In the open development stage of the supply chain,the dynamic capability of the supply chain seeks more external cooperation through the globalization strategy,and promotes resource sharing to improve the efficiency and production capacity of R&D and production.Through strategic transformation,we can better deal with internal and external risks,so as to obtain a good market share and sustainable development capabilities.According to the results of the case analysis,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions for the new energy vehicle manufacturing industry:(1)Adjust the strategy in time to improve the agility of the supply chain.According to the development trend of the industry,we make timely strategic adjustments,develop and manufacture products and technologies that meet market demand,and bring huge benefits to the company.(2)Accelerate resource sharing and improve supply chain collaboration capabilities.It is necessary to accelerate the horizontal resource sharing between industries and vertical supply chains,improve innovation capabilities and production levels,and break through the monopoly of key technological resources in developed countries.(3)Improve R&D efficiency and increase supply chain innovation revenue.Efforts should be made to increase the capitalization of R&D expenses,convert a large amount of R&D investment into new products that are practically usable,accepted by the market,and promote technological progress,so as to better play the role of supply chain innovation in the new stage.
