| At present,China’s new round of industrial transformation and scientific and technological innovation is in progress,and the application of new digital technologies has set off waves in the whole society,laying a solid foundation for the growth of digital economy.The growth of digital economy could supply valuable opportunities for the development of China’s industry,especially manufacturing industry New manufacturing models such as intelligent production,Internet collaborative production and customized production services continue to emerge.Manufacturing has become the main battleground of the digital economy.There is a close relationship between digital economy and technological complexity of manufacturing export.However,at present,the basic theory of the domestic research on the relationship between digital economy and export technology complexity is still relatively weak,and there is a lack of in-depth,systematic and holistic research on the relationship between digital economy and manufacturing.Considering this situation,digital economy will be a good vision to research the relationship between them..This paper combines digital economy with technological complexity of manufacturing export,and studies the relationship between digital economy and technological complexity of manufacturing export from the perspective of the current healthy growth of digital economy.It begins to analyse this influence from human capital,technological innovation and trade cost.Secondly,the comprehensive evaluation method is used to construct and express the index system that can measure the development level of digital economy.Apart from that,the export technology complexity is calculated by selecting the data of 26 sub-sectors from 2011 to 2018.Finally,the relationship between digital economy and manufacturing export technology complexity is analyzed by establishing correlation model of mediating effect.The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between digital economy and manufacturing export technology complexity.After testing the intermediary model,it is proved that digital economy can improve the technological complexity of manufacturing export through reducing trade costs,promoting technological innovation and enhancing human capital.We also find that there is regional heterogeneity in the impact of digital economy on manufacturing export technology complexity.The digital economy in eastern and central regions makes a huge difference to this increase of export technology complexity,because the digital economy in eastern and central regions has a high degree of development and perfection,while the digital economy in western and northeast regions has a relatively weak effect on export technology complexity due to the low degree of development of digital economy.According to the results,it gives some suggestions from strengthening top-level design,stimulating market vitality and improving system construction.The state should put more attention to the foundation of the development of digital economy,which makes efforts to build a good surrounding for the digital economy,change the management hierarchy of digital economy,change the cognate tactics and hierarchy of it and then make manufacturing industry become more and more digital and intelligent,finally succeed in changing itself. |
