Along with the economic globalization speeding up,the countries or regions are participating in the international trade with more raises attitude,and with manufacturing in multinational enterprises or organizations,the international market has gradually increased its requirements on quality and quantity,which requires enterprises to explore the international division of labor form multiple perspectives,define their own appropriate position,and gradually expend their competitive advantages.The Yangtze River Delta region of Jiangsu province is a developed province in China’s coastal areas.For many years,the manufacturing industry has taken the leading position in China by virtue of its geographical location,social and economic development and other advantages.In terms of its outputs value,it accounts for more than 30% of the national total output value all the year round,and can occupy about 3% in the world.It is China’s manufacturing province,the pioneer and engine of the economy.But at the international level,Jiangsu’s manufacturing industry is still in a mid-low position in the global value chain,mainly because of the “bottleneck”problem of its own weak technological innovation and progress ability;There are few high-end human capital such as labor and most of them are still basic labor.Capital investment level,foreign investment level is still low caused by many overlapping reasons.Therefore,this paper takes the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province as the research object to explore the influence mechanism and transformation path of global value chain division position,which is of great practical significance.This paper uses the literature analysis method to sort out the main research results and related theories in this field,and concludes that most of the current research is mainly form the national perspective,while there is still a gap in the research on the analysis of the position of prefecture-level cities in the global value chain,which is also one of the innovations of this article points.Secondly,this paper uses statistical and comparative analysis method to describe the status quo of each industry through the data of twenty years and the overall manufacturing industry of Jiangsu province,at the same time use the fourteen years data of Jiangsu province can be divided into southern Jiangsu,middle and north Jiangsu area respectively calculates the manufacturing status of global value chain to its,still belongs to the mid-low end position of results.According to the current situation and the results of measurement,the main problems existing in the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province are analyzed,paving the way for the following.Finally,this paper also uses the econometric model analysis method,first of all,the influence mechanism of Jiangsu manufacturing industry global value chain position is deeply studied,to lay a theoretical foundation,not only form the Industry internal and external dimensions,but also form the characteristics of Jiangsu manufacturing industry,form the specialization,service,manufacturing transformation and upgrading,which is also the second innovation point of this paper.Then,the thesis uses Stata14.0 software to conduct an empirical study.It includes technological innovation and progress,capital investment level and human capital investment level,and take regional economy and foreign trades as the adjustment mechanism,and also considering the regional heterogeneity influence,finally make a regression analysis,at the same time in order to ensure reliable empirical results,used to replace the independent variable,Tobit regression for the stability test,confirmed that all assumption.According to the various sections of all the research and analysis,the paper finally draws on a variety of mechanisms of Jiangsu manufacturing industry under the influence of the global value chain division of position more hair force,measures and the form of more,including through vigorously promote technological progress and innovation,to the transformation of service,deep into the global value chain,and other ways to work together.This thesis has 7figures,21 tables and 81 references. |
