Financial Performance Analysis Of Suning Shopping Under The New Retail Model

With the improvement of people’s living standard,as an important part of the national economy,the retail industry has developed rapidly in recent decades.In the past decade,with the development of science and technology,e-commerce rapidly occupied the retail market,but in this case,the development of traditional enterprises entered a weak period.With the emergence of new consumer forces,new shopping needs and consumption experience have changed,and the retail industry has higher and higher requirements,and the development of e-commerce has been restricted.Therefore,entering the next stage has become an inevitable trend,the new retail model--online + offline + logistics arises at the historic moment.This mode combines the convenient online shopping mode with the actual offline consumption experience,promotes the combination of online and offline retail through the rapid development of logistics distribution system,and makes retail enterprises more intelligent and systematic.In such an environment,more and more retail enterprises in the grope to open a new retail mode of management,therefore,the study of this paper is very necessary for the retail industry.This paper takes Suning Tesco as the research object and analyzes its financial performance under the new retail model innovation.First of all,the background and significance of the case study are introduced,relevant domestic and foreign literatures are sorted out,and then the relevant theoretical basis and evaluation methods of financial performance are systematically elaborated,paving the way for specific analysis.Secondly,suning Tesco is selected as the research object,combined with the industry background and the introduction of the enterprise,the motivation and measures of its transformation of the new retail model are deeply analyzed.The data of Suning Shopping in the past three years before and after the transformation of the new retail model are analyzed,and the financial index analysis method,cash flow structure analysis method and economic value added method are respectively used to evaluate.The results show that Suning Shopping has a good overall performance,which is reflected in its stable debt paying ability and stable cash capacity development.The deficiencies mainly include increased risk of capital chain fracture,poor profit quality,poor asset management level and insufficient market share.Finally,based on the deficiencies found in the financial performance evaluation,the following suggestions are put forward: reduce the risk of enterprise capital chain fracture,optimize the operating profit structure to improve the profit quality,improve the asset management quality,and carry out business centering on the core competitiveness,hoping to improve the financial performance of Suning Shopping.
