In 2020,novel coronavirus pneumonia and global macroeconomic downturn affected the automotive market in China.In 2021,with the smooth operation of China’s economy and the listing of vaccines,COVID-19 has been effectively controlled,the auto industry has warmed up,and domestic and foreign automobile market demand has been rising.At the same time,the bus industry is also facing a new round of replacement cycle.New energy vehicles are gradually entering the market.The demand of overseas new energy bus market is increasing.China’s bus enterprises have certain advantages,and made in China will continue to expand the overseas market in the future.On this premise,how to improve the core competitiveness of automobile enterprises in the increasingly fierce automobile market is particularly important.Every link of the internal value chain of automobile enterprises affects the competitiveness of enterprises,and the different functions of each link have different effects on the core competitiveness of enterprises.The core competitiveness of enterprises is very important for the sustainable development of enterprises.Whether it is the antagonistic competition between enterprises or the cooperative competition between enterprises,the core competitiveness plays a very key role for enterprises.This paper selects Z Enterprise as the research object,introduces the research background and forms at home and abroad.Firstly,it expounds the core competitiveness and value chain theory and its relationship.Value chain theory tells us that value activities are the basic conditions for enterprises to cultivate their core competitiveness.Enterprises can cultivate their core competitiveness and occupy an advantageous position in the fierce market competition by optimizing and improving the links of value activities.This paper combines theoretical analysis with practice,uses questionnaire survey to investigate the employees of Z company,analyzes a series of value activities of the company based on Porter’s value chain theory according to the survey results,and puts forward corresponding core competitiveness cultivation and promotion schemes and safeguard measures on the basis of value activity analysis,so as to enhance the core competitiveness of Z company.The optimization and promotion plan includes the following aspects: expanding R & D innovation,reducing production costs,improving marketing and building a talent team;Safeguard measures mainly include adjusting the organizational structure,cultivating excellent corporate culture,strengthening after-sales service,establishing a learning organization,external policy preference,etc.by optimizing and improving the scheme and safeguard measures,we can cultivate the core competitiveness of Z company and promote the company to maintain long-term competitive advantage.
