Research On The Impact Of Midea Group’s Digital Transformation On Enterprise Performance

With the continuous advancement of the wheel of history,the level of human science and technology is changing with each passing day,and the global economy has entered the era of digitization.Digital technologies such as big data,cloud computing,and artificial intelligence have become the main direction for cultivating a new economy.For enterprises to adapt to the wave of the digital economy and stand out in the changing times,digital transformation is the only way and an important measure to help enterprises achieve high-quality growth.As a "leader" in the home appliance manufacturing industry,Midea Group followed the trend and announced its corporate transformation strategy in 2012.In 2013,it officially joined the ranks of the digital transformation army,optimizing its organizational structure,strengthening platform construction,and exploring management models.This paper selects Midea Group,the leader of domestic home appliance manufacturing enterprises,as the research object.Based on the theory of organizational change,process reengineering,and value co-creation,this paper analyzes the case of Midea Group’s digital transformation,from the institutional background and transformation process of Midea Group’s digital transformation.,enterprise performance and its impact path,etc.,to explore the impact mechanism of digital transformation on enterprise performance,in order to provide suggestions for enterprises to continue to promote digital transformation and achieve high-quality development.By reading the relevant literature,we can see that at present,domestic and foreign experts have carried out relevant research on digital transformation,mainly involving the overall impact of digital transformation on enterprise performance,and the research on the relevant paths of digital transformation affecting enterprise performance is not comprehensive enough.Therefore,this article focuses on this,and further explores the path and achievements of Midea Group’s digital transformation.The study found that Midea Group’s digital transformation strategy has achieved remarkable results,and has a positive impact on corporate performance through related paths:first,research and development innovation,improve product quality,and increase product market share;second,develop online channels and optimize offline channels,sales are diversified and more convenient,and production and sales are increasing year by year;third,flexible production and delivery,high-precision intelligent manufacturing are realized,and related costs are reduced;fourth,the whole process is highly intelligent,and it is easy to be recognized as a high-tech enterprise and obtain preferential tax rates.Lower taxes.In addition,through comparative analysis,this paper also finds that the M&A investment of enterprises in the process of digital transformation may generate high costs and have a negative impact on enterprise performance.At the same time,this paper puts forward relevant research suggestions based on the experience and deficiencies of Midea Group in the process of digital transformation.Taking various means to improve efficiency and reduce costs is the room for improvement that Midea needs to pay attention to in optimizing the effect of digital transformation.For enterprises aspiring to promote digital transformation,it is the key to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises to learn from the experience of the group based on their own circumstances and choose reasonable means to implement them.
