| As a new economic form,digital economy has great potential to realize the high-quality development of China’s economy.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the influence effect and mechanism of digital economy on high-quality development for the implementation of high-quality development strategy.Based on the background,this paper has carried out a series of mechanism analysis and empirical tests around the topic of "the impact of digital economy on high-quality development".Firstly,based on the existing research results of digital economy and high-quality development,this paper deeply understands the present situation and trend of digital economy,and analyzes the logical mechanism of digital economy promoting high-quality development from three aspects:direct mechanism,indirect mechanism of improving labor mismatch and spatial spillover effect.Then,based on the deep understanding of the connotation of high-quality development and digital economy,this paper constructs a multi-index evaluation system and uses entropy method to measure the high-quality development index and digital economy development level of 265 prefecture-level cities in China from 2012 to 2018.Then,it uses the growth rate decomposition method to measure the labor mismatch degree of prefecture-level cities.Finally,this paper uses the fixed effect model,instrumental variable regression model,intermediary effect model and spatial Durbin model to verify the direct effect of digital economy in promoting high-quality development,intermediary effect of labor mismatch,regional heterogeneity and spatial spillover effect,and makes corresponding robustness tests.The empirical results show that:First,the digital economy has significantly promoted the high-quality development of Chinese cities.Secondly,improving labor mismatch has played an important intermediary role in the process of digital economy promoting high-quality development.Third,the digital economy has the greatest positive impact on eastern cities and the smallest impact on western cities.Fourthly,the impact of digital economy on high-quality development has obvious spatial spillover.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the digital infrastructure,encourage new employment forms,formulate and implement differentiated and integrated digital economy strategies to help the development of digital economy,so as to better serve China’s high-quality development strategy. |
