Under today’s era of knowledge economy, the world economy is increasingly driven by the production, diffusion and use of knowledge, and knowledge has become the core resource for the sustainable development of enterprises.Especially for knowledge-intense and technology-intensive high-tech enterprises, heterogeneous knowledge has become an important source for enterprises to develop and innovate and acquire core competitiveness. For maintaining competitive advantage in an industry where new knowledge emerges frequently, companies must continually broaden and deepen their knowledge base.At present,my country’s high-tech enterprises are still in the incipient stage of development.Even though the number of high-tech enterprises is growing rapidly, the number of small and medium-sized private enterprises accounts for more than 80% of all registered high-tech enterprises.Owe to the limitations of their own capital chain and R&D capabilities, enterprises are more inclined to acquire the knowledge and resources they need from the outside at low cost and high efficiency. The development of the Internet of Things, big data, etc.has also made enterprises have more ways and means to obtain the knowledge required by enterprises. The innovation orientation of an enterprise can reflect its emphasis on innovation, acceptance and support of new knowledge and new technologies.Different innovation orientations will have an impact on an enterprise’s preference for acquiring knowledge resources. The strength of enterprise capabilities will affect the way, quantity and quality of knowledge acquired by enterprises. At the same time, the research of external knowledge acquisition must be embedded in a specific environment, and the competitive intensity of the industry needs to be taken into account as an important external environmental influence factor of the enterprise.Starting from resource-based theory,knowledge-based theory, and organizational learning theory, this paper selects high-tech enterprises in China as the study objects, and on the basis of sorting out relevant literature, constructs a theoretical research model on the influence of innovation orientation and enterprise capability on external knowledge acquisition, and proposes the hypothesis. In this paper, the data were collected by field investigation, interview and questionnaire, and empirically analyzes the influencing factors of external knowledge acquisition in high-tech enterprises.By sorting out the collected questionnaire data,288 valid questionnaires were finally obtained, and the sample data covered 17 provinces and 14 industries. This paper analyzes the collected data by using SPSS22 statistical analysis software. The results show that the obtained data have reached the basic requirements of regression analysis in terms of reliability and validity.Subsequently, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and other analysis methods are used to verify the proposed hypothesis.Based on the empirical research, this paper draws the following conclusions.First of all, innovation orientation has a positive impact on external knowledge acquisition, which shows that enterprises should adhere to innovation orientation, create a good organizational culture atmosphere, cultivate the innovative consciousness of organizational members and promote the emergence of innovative activities of enterprises;Secondly,high-tech enterprises of external knowledge acquisition is negatively affected by technical capabilities, which indicates that the improvement of technical capabilities has an inhibitory effect on external knowledge acquisition;Thirdly, the external knowledge acquisition of high-tech enterprises is positively influenced by absorptive capacity and network capacity, and the results are remarkable.Enterprises should pay attention to the development, promotion and utilization of technology and network capacity during the process of operation and development;Fourthly, industry competition intensity can reduce the negative influence of technological capability of high-tech enterprises on external knowledge acquisition;Last but not least, industry competition intensity not only positively moderates the relationship between innovation orientation and external knowledge acquisition, but also positively moderates the relationship between network capacity, absorptive capacity and external knowledge acquisition. |
