Research On The Measurement Of The Development Quality Of Digital Economy

As China’s economic development shifts from a stage of high-speed growth to a stage of high-quality development,the impact of the traditional economy on sustained economic growth has slowed.The digital economy uses information and communication technology to penetrate into traditional industries,vigorously promote the growth of productivity and promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure,and promote the high-quality development of the economy.Therefore,China has begun to develop the digital economy.According to data released by the Information Communication Institute,the contribution rate of digital economic development to GDP growth in 2018 was 67.9%,and the digital economy has gradually become a new engine driving China’s economic development.In order to measure the development quality of the digital economy,in order to promote the high-quality development of the digital economy and better play the driving role of the digital economy to the high-quality development of the economy.This article first conducts a theoretical study on the connotation range of the digital economy and the quality of economic development and the effect of the digital economy on the quality of economic development,which lays a theoretical foundation for the measurement of the development quality of the digital economy.Secondly,combined with the theoretical research of digital economy and the analysis of the current situation,the basic indicators are selected from the five aspects of innovation,coordination,green,openness,and sharing to construct a digital economy development quality measurement index system.Entropy method and time series global principal component analysis method are used to give weight and Calculate the quality of digital economic development in China and provinces from 2011 to 2017,and use spatial measurement to study the spatial distribution of the quality of digital economic development in provinces.The study found that the quality of digital economy development in China and provinces has steadily improved,but the development of digital economy among regions is not coordinated,showing a spatial distribution of "high in the east and low in the west" in space.Among them,the eastern coastal areas are mostly located in high-high aggregation areas,and the central and western areas are mostly located in low-low aggregation areas.Finally,based on the results of empirical research,four suggestions are proposed to improve the governance system of the digital economy,strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure,feed back the rural areas to complement the shortcomings of the rural digital economy,and strengthen the coordinated development of the digital economy between regions,providing a reference for the high-quality development of the digital economy.
