| Production line balancing plays an important role in production management.It aims to assign priority units to a certain number of workstations under constraints imposed by known realities,make each workstation work time and work difficulty as far as possible balanced,thus reducing the production rhythm,to achieve the maximum benefit of the production line.Its role is to reduce the backlog of products,eliminate waste,access to market initiative.On the basis of the research on production balance by domestic and foreign scholars in recent years,this paper puts forward the method of combining industrial engineering method with particle swarm optimization,and applies this method to the laptop production line of A company.Taking a company as an example and taking its notebook production line as the research object,through the measurement of standard working time and the analysis of technological process,the paper finds that the current production line balance rate is low and the workload is not balanced,the cause of the problem was analyzed by combining qualitative and quantitative methods.It was found that the causes of unbalanced production line and unbalanced load were embodied in process flow,operation and whole arrangement of process.Secondly,by means of industrial engineering,the balance rate of the production line increased from 65.81% to 76.58%,and the smoothness index decreased from 213.08 to118.02,because the laptop production line of Company A has many processes and is quite complicated,only using industrial engineering method has certain limitation,so aiming at the unsolved problem,the PSO algorithm is used to optimize the production line,and the mathematical model aiming at the maximum balance rate and the minimum smoothness index is established,and the solution is carried out in MATLAB environment,the balance ratio of the production line increased from 76.58% to 88.74%,and the smoothness index decreased from 118.02 to 50.02.Finally,the optimization effect is evaluated by comparing the data before and after optimization.To sum up,the combination of industrial engineering improvement technology and particle swarm optimization algorithm to optimize a company’s laptop production line,the results show that the production line balance has been significantly improved,the improvement scheme can also provide reference for similar electronic manufacturing enterprises. |
