| Nowadays,with the rapid development of the internet,people can not only break through the limitations of space and time by using online recruitment platforms.Job seekers and recruitment companies can communicate online anytime and anywhere,but also share a large amount of recruitment information on the internet platform.At the same time,it also improves recruitment efficiency and reduces recruitment costs.In recent years,the COVID-19 not only has an impact on China’s social economy,but also has a great impact on the employment of job seekers.At the same time,with the continuous increase in the number of college graduates in China,the competition in the current employment market is becoming increasingly fierce.With the continuous development of online recruitment,user privacy protection will become increasingly important.Recruitment websites collect a lot of relevant personal information during the process of providing online recruitment services for users.If this personal information is leaked and obtained by some illegal elements for profit,the adverse consequences for the user will also be unimaginable.Therefore,the healthy development of recruitment websites cannot be separated from protecting user privacy.The content of the privacy policy mainly clarifies the rights and responsibilities of the platform and users in the protection and use of personal information.Therefore,from a legal perspective,the platform’s privacy policy is not only an important way and method to protect user privacy,but also an important guarantee for users to protect their rights in accordance with the law after discovering personal privacy leaks.For website service providers,privacy policy is a document that explains the user’s personal information usage behavior,and also a commitment to the processing of user personal information,which has a certain binding effect on website operators.The importance and degree of importance that websites attach to user privacy protection can be reflected by the level of perfection of privacy policies.Moreover,privacy policies have become one of the important measures for websites to ensure user information security and an important part of their own security system.Therefore,this article mainly analyzes the issues of user privacy protection on recruitment websites in China from the perspective of privacy policies.Firstly,the relevant concepts of recruitment websites,personal information,and privacy policies were reviewed and introduced.It was analyzed that personal information in recruitment websites has the characteristics of a large amount of information and involves a large amount of sensitive personal information.The role of privacy policies was analyzed from three perspectives: users,website service providers,and regulatory authorities,and it was pointed out that privacy policies have contractual properties.Secondly,based on reviewing relevant literature and privacy policies of some recruitment websites,and consulting experts,evaluation indicators were selected,and an evaluation index system for user privacy protection of recruitment websites was constructed using Analytic Hierarchy Process from three dimensions: "personal information processing rules","user rights protection",and "personal information processor obligations".Then select some representative recruitment websites as empirical analysis samples to conduct empirical analysis on the constructed evaluation index system.The analysis results found that the level of privacy protection for recruitment website users in China is average,and there are problems such as "insufficient protection of user rights,easy neglect of special group rights","insufficient fulfillment of website obligations,and inadequate supervision mechanism".Finally,in response to these issues,improvement suggestions are proposed from aspects such as "comprehensive protection of user rights,focusing on special groups","improving privacy protection policies,implementing user rights protection","the trend of elderly people re employment,focusing on their privacy protection",and "effectively fulfilling relevant obligations,accepting social supervision".In addition,the user privacy protection evaluation index system for recruitment websites constructed in this article is not only feasible to a certain extent,but also can provide reference and reference for research on user privacy protection evaluation of recruitment websites.The proposed improvement strategies can also provide reference for recruitment websites to improve their user privacy protection level. |
