The Embodied Communication Of AI Anchors And Hosts From The Perspective Of The Metaverse

With the popularity of the term "meta-universe",artificial intelligence,digital twins and other technical sources have re-attracted the attention of the public and the research of the academic community,and AI anchors,as a product of artificial intelligence in the media industry,have continuously completed technological iteration and evolutionary upgrading,bringing new research perspectives and research topics to the field of host communication.From the perspective of the meta-universe,this paper takes AI anchors and hosts as the research subjects,takes the embodied communication theory in the second generation of cognitive science as the starting point,and uses research methods such as literature analysis,comparative analysis and case analysis to sort out the comparative advantages and development dilemma of AI anchors under technological innovation,conduct in-depth analysis of the human-machine relationship between virtual and real symbiosis,and conduct in-depth research on the spatial transformation and role transmutation strategies of the host’s body,which has certain academic value and practical significance.The study found that the metaverse is a diversified platform for human beings to participate in socializing,learning,working,trading and other activities through digital humans who are separated by technology,and together with the real world,broadens the extension of human practice.In addition,under the technical challenges of AI anchors,the research of hosting communication needs to return to the "body" world and reintegrate the body into the architecture of intelligent subjects,so as to establish a key link between hosting communication and human development.At the same time,the host body as a communication medium,is the material carrier of the perceptual system and information transmission,is an objective entity that is shaped and dominated,and is also an emotional carrier of information decoding,communication dialogue,and rational expression.The attributes of the AI anchor technology core are like a double-edged sword,and since its inception,it has fallen into a two-way discussion of applause and doubt.On the one hand,it has certain natural advantages,and has advantages over traditional hosts in terms of timeliness,output cost performance,intelligence,and think tank selection;On the other hand,technical barriers and ethical dilemmas make it lack the sustainability of high-level development.In the final analysis,as a product of artificial intelligence,AI anchors are only the media and carrier of information dissemination,and they are instrumental existences,and the real meaning of communication does not lie in what medium is used,but the information behind the media and the heart-to-heart communication between the two parties.With the application of artificial intelligence technology in news collection and writing,content production and distribution,data supervision and feedback,journalists can liberate themselves from simple,tedious and repetitive work,turn to in-depth mining of news content and featured reports,and complete more challenging and creative work.AI anchors and real anchors have moved from opposition to virtual and real symbiosis,the degree of human-machine embedding,human-machine collaboration,and human-machine integration has gradually deepened,and the host should make full use of the unique advantages of physical presence and personified communication to accelerate the functional transfer of one-way content output that can be replaced by AI anchors to multi-directional interactive communication.We should give full play to our technical advantages and people’s subjective initiative,learn from each other’s strengths,maintain the balance between the efficiency of AI anchors and the internal drive expression of hosts,and achieve benign results that promote reality with falsehood.Since the development of mass media from newspapers,technological evolution has always revolved around the direction of human needs,and communication in the meta-universe era needs to return to people’s living space and cultural space.Similarly,artificial intelligence puts forward new requirements for the practice of hosting communication and talent training: it is necessary to reflect more "human" values-humanization,personalization,and interpersonal in the practice of hosting communication,and more attention must be paid to the "human" factor in the education and research of hosting communication.First,in the new media environment,the role of the host should be changed from a passive "microphone" to an active "gatekeeper",maintaining rational thinking and continuous innovation to create a healthy media ecology.Second,affirmation of presence is the expression of the "body" in the presiding communication,and it is necessary to complete the different presence methods in the physical space,cyber space and meta-universe interactive space,and play the role of the "body" as a medium.Third,personification is the core center of the "body" in the presided over communication,emphasizing the personalized expression,emotional communication,and situational communication of the subject.At the same time,as a specific cultural symbol,the host should further strengthen cultural consciousness,take the initiative to seek change,constantly enrich its own knowledge base,respect the law of artistic creation,and expand its own cultural influence through profound humanistic accumulation.
